Have I just snagged one? Yes.
Aaand here it is. And here it rips.

It's the first time I have a W&C pedal but, from the 60minutes I just spent with it, i am stunned.
The gain range goes from garage light crunch to early 90ies alt rock to full stoner doom, all with that classic & evident mid scoop. Compared to a lot of other muff circuits, in which 3/4 of the tone knob positions are dramatically "dark", here the tone behaves really well in the whole range (also, it work backwards ).

Can't wait to a/b with my other muffs.

Incoming?
Finally received the Super Weirdo and ROYGBIV I ordered (full price) in February from JPTR - only after they stopped answering my e-mails and I complained to PayPal. The Super Weirdo arrived without a back plate (not sure if i should plug in and test anyway) and only the fuzz knob of the ROYGBIV seems to do anything. So mad at these guys—they ran several sales in the last few months while I was waiting and now this garbage. Finally had time to play today and this left such a sour taste in my mouth.

Also, the Glou-Glou Loupe i scored has been stranded at Charles de Gualle for two weeks. Glou-Glou appears to actually be doing something about it, though.

Lesson learned - don't order pedals from Europe—unless they're from Norway. They have it together.

While I am not interested in buying Looperlative, I'd be extremely happy to watch a demo/tutorial to better understand the functionalities.

I have been occasionally thinking about buying a no-bullshit guitar like that: volume knob, 1 pickup and that's all. But then I always think I'd miss the neck pickup in a matter of days. Good choice btw, also I like yellow guitars. :thumb:

Took a while for the Triangle to get here from Russia, but finally arrived last week, and was totally worth the wait.
It's a CE-2 / VB-2 clone with 3 delay time modes, sine/triangle/random-sine waveform, plus some extras like depth ramping, speed randomization, and the chance to activate a feedback state to get flanger sounds.
https://en.analogworm.ru/product/triangle-mk2/

Pic with the Longsword because they are both sparklin' black and look (and sound) gorgeous together.
Now I probably need a sparkling delay to match those two? :erm:

Let's say, stand-alone (without midi controlling), the LP2 is like having 2 DL4s in one box, which you can sync or not together. The way the looper-workflow is made is the very same as Line6, as you have rec/overdub and play/stop switches. If a loop is stopped and you push rec, this will record a new loop. Same as the Line6 loopers and the Strymon Timeline. These are the bacis, then there's a lot more under the hood, you have the classic reverse and halfspeed, different replace functions, etc... and with midi you can access up to 4 loops and everything else you can control as per midi-mapping (actually... EVERYTHING parameter and functions!).

On one hand I felt like I really GAS'ed myself out of the store yesterday ( But no regrets...... fucking LOVE that instrument) but as a dude who is selling things for living ( restaurant equipment) I know that next month everything will be at least 10% higher if not more.

Looking that way in construction too.. anything with glue in it is going to be violent.. like plywood.. I’d hold off on any custom cabs for a long time.....

Out: Bitquest, EB Music Man Sub 4 Bass

In: Squire Affinty Telecaster, Dirge Slowly Melting.

I am fairly proud of myself for the amount of self control I have had lately but there are weeks where the GAS is just too much. I am having so much fun playing music again, I feel like I am 18 all over again. Also I am really happy with my small gear pile so I can be the best lousy bass / guitar player in all of Oregon.

What left, my EBMM bass that started my music playing journey a year ago - A FANTASIC 300 bass guitar that came great out of the box but I am now an anti battery person - I know active pick ups blah blah blah but I don't have time for that 9vt shit anymore. After I got my Jazz Bass which is pretty perfect for me in everyway it just sat in the closet so out it went.

The Bitquest was a hard one, while I really dug this pedal I felt it was just too much to sit on my desk. I had it off my board for over a month now so I decided to selectively move it too Cosmicvan who I knew would give it a good home. ( hope you enjoyed the beer!)

What is in:

I drunk ordered a Slowly Melting - such a unique pedal... I am really going to have to try and fuck around with it some more but the finish and everything is so punk rock. It looks so rad next to my virus .... a 100% keeper on this even if I don't fully utilize it. 10/10 more dirge again.

Also the guitar gas got me and I ended up walking away with a 230.00 squire telecaster. While I could have bought triple the guitar its prefect for my beginning playing level and time that I can invest into it. Four days in a row this week I have been noodling trying to find the power cords. Not bad for a guy who quite music three times and never fucked around with guitar seriously until now.

In the mean time, I am going to grab a tube screamer of some sort and swap out pedals when needed - the MBD2 is balls amazing on bass but not so much on guitar. Also though about picking up a Timmy or a REV3 but I know there a ZILLION flavors of dirt out there so I am just going to wait until payday again before I pick anything up.
Beer was a solid lager...thanks! BitQuest is so solid. I've got it on my travel bass board (which at the moment is my only bass board since the main board is in disarray for months now). So many great effects on that thing. I've been really digging the delay.

I too made a drunk purchase...

apparently if you put one in your cart and don't buy it, Bananana will send you a discount code a few days later. I couldn't resist getting it less than MSRP and it is actually way cooler than I even expected it to be.
