I did try it out shortly this morning when the postman left,I still have to understand it a bit better, but so far it's a very cool pedal. Very flexible and multitasking.

Same 1590BB box as many common pedals.

I was REALLY sure I wasn't going to buy anything else this year, as with the addition of the Zoia I have a ridiculous number of new sounds to play with.
However, there are SO many sounds available that it might make sense to buy at least one more Zoia so I can combine those sounds
No plans to do so yet, but I have a feeling it's only a matter of time now. . .

But then you need a third Zoia just to send expression controls to the other two... snowflake becomes blizzard...

I had to do it.
Went to the ye old centurar guitar to pick up an EHX freeze and then a EHX Oceans 11 for my co-worker who is covering for me on my vacation.
The freeze is going to allow me to do some cool practicing. I was doing something similar with my RC1 but the loop would run out in the middle. This way I can still do the same latching effect and play over it which should allow for some creative juices to flow. - for now I am going to take the bitquest off the board and sit on it for a hot min. I love it so but its not scratching the itch like I hope it would - I know if I sell it I will regret it so the pile begins.

The Freeze has just the one narrow trick but I just like it and keep bringing it back out.

Even when occasionally noodling on guitar since hitting my pedal-buying years, I've never had any interest in dirt or, broadly speaking, TOANZ. But with the arrival of my lap steel I did want a bit of a boost, and maybe to cast my eye on adding a bit of dignified grit. So I turned to aliexpress, of course.

I may yet, though I have a couple other options also en route to me. I have a couple Caline delays that are agreeable to me.

Kloninating the countryside
Kloninating the peasants
Kloninating all the peoples
And their thatched-roof cottages
fwiw - i find lap steels will cut through dirt that collapses into a complete intermodulating mess on standard guitars (something to do with them heavy metal tone barz)

So if I redesign the Klon to be an ILF - Fuzzy Metal special edition, who's gonna build them?
