MBD2 is stuck in the mail, hopefully by the end of the week I will have it and you know not have Oregon burn down to the ground.

I couldn't bond with the Rainbow Machine which is weird since that's like a pedal made for someone like me. Data Corrupter is a similar story. I have 5 or 6 PLLs and the Data Corrupter kind of feels like the radio edit version of a PLL. Sure, you can get some gnarly tonez from it, but compared to all other PLLs that Data Corrupter is the toy. I did, however, LOVE the magic button on the rainbow machine, but ultimately I let that one go.Paul_C wrote:Still waiting on the 856 for Zellersasn because international shipping seems to be all over the place at the moment (I had a book arrive yesterday that took nearly 7 weeks to turn up), which made me back out of a couple of possible deals as I can't cope with the hassle of waiting and wondering (and import duties).
To cheer myself up I bought a couple of pedals locally, so tomorrow should bring me a Rainbow Machine and a Data Corrupter.
I didn't forget that request, so here is the Hotone Skyline family snapshot.Dandolin wrote:Dag, I really had no idea.Pepe wrote:The TAPE EKO and the KRUSH are the coolest machines of the bunch. There is no single mediocre pedal among the Skyline series. The TREM is also one of my favourites, because it completely nails the vintage amp tremolo of Fender and Vox. The HARMONY does better pitch shifting than my BOSS PS-3 (sound-quality-wise) and the ROTO is a lovely analog Univibe mockup. It's a shame that Hotone doesn't offer new Skyline models. But there are 29 in total.
I have a Roto (thanks to you, actually), and it is pretty nice, so I guess that's my favorite, lol. Kinda cool seeing that many minis in one place
Got a picture of all of'em on a board?
yeah, for better or worse, it's really an open book...hope you enjoy itbackwardsvoyager wrote:I got a Poly Digit/Beebo today.
Pleasantly surprised by the sound quality/fidelity.
Kinda disappointed with the factory presets (output levels are all over the place) and nobody seems to be sharing patches online, so it's gonna take a loooot of tweaking to decide whether to keep it, but should be fun.
Had such a hard time not grabbing the Deathmaster during that sale. Look forward to hearing about it!gila_crisis wrote:I got 2 more dirty boxes:
- DIY kit Pedal PCB Hyped Fuzz (superb clone of the Boss FZ2 Hyper Fuzz, I got the kit from musikding.de)
- Idiotbox Deathmaster

I did a deep try out of the Deathmaster yesterday night. It's a very cool pedal! I think its core is based around a rat, but the resonce part is what takes it apart.Jero wrote:Had such a hard time not grabbing the Deathmaster during that sale. I built a couple of those Hyped Fuzzes too! Pretty rad.
This pedal really rips, also with synths!!!gila_crisis wrote:I did a deep try out of the Deathmaster yesterday night. It's a very cool pedal! I love it with synths, it really shines!
