The stock one was popping strings out every now and then so I replaced it with one of these (no other mods)

MBD2 is going to be here next week because Oregon is on fire and shit. Today’s gas has been
Fractal FX / Helix and new basses. My musician man sub is really great for the money but as I play more I am really missing what comes in a nicer instrument. Thinking right now I might get an American Jazz or if I can swing it an ultra jazz performer. Who knows maybe I will change my mind in the next month or so

Still waiting on the 856 for Zellersasn because international shipping seems to be all over the place at the moment (I had a book arrive yesterday that took nearly 7 weeks to turn up), which made me back out of a couple of possible deals as I can't cope with the hassle of waiting and wondering (and import duties).
To cheer myself up I bought a couple of pedals locally, so tomorrow should bring me a Rainbow Machine and a Data Corrupter.

I would agree with this to some extent. It’s a one trick pony that does a cool trick that makes you go “wow that’s rad!” Or “ok that’s neat and kind of annoying, what’s for lunch?”
Combining the Rainbow Machine with other pedals is

I've had both before and had to sell to raise funds.
I think they both do interesting things and wanted to try them with all the new stuff I've got

I should add that I had to order some more patch leads as I've run out
I also bought another power supply to give me a bit more flexibility, but TBH even I will admit things are getting a bit out of hand
I am considering changing from music stands to some sort of insane shelving set up, maybe on wheels so I can hide power supply cables etc. behind it but be able to turn it round to get at them.
Other than that I'd quite like a second Katana to run a stereo set up.

Snagged an old Pharaoh Amps (now Alexander Pedals) Sweet Cheetah 2. Has a JRC4558 in it but you can swap in whatever, apparently. Circuit looks fairly simple but not quite like anything I'm familiar with off the top of my head, definitely sounds like its own thing though you do get some familiar character from the 4558. Much higher gain than a TS, lows get pretty round/soft/slightly sludgy and overall character gets almost fuzzy as the gain goes up. Need to see if I can tweak the tone control to spread the sweep out (it's all in the final 1/4 turn), but it's fairly unique drive I think I'll get some work out of. Gotta stock up on some different opamps to swap in there now!

Starting to really like the Boss DD-500 as the delay I want to get - everything else is either too simple or just expensive enough but missing something from it. I should start saving for the new bass but I am super missing a delay as of lately.
MBD2 should come tomorrow so that will help for a bit

Inbound:
Suspect this may dethrone ye olde Whetstone (especially now that its bypass switch is becoming touchy).
