Yes, I think I will have lots of fun. A demo will follow later this year.
Kudos to lordgalvar (again!), who recommended trying out yet another PT2399 chip, which was the solution to my problem.

One more before I get back to making music
I've not bought it yet, but I will in the next day or so - a Red Panda Tensor
I put a set of pickups into a CS Telecaster for someone and he didn't like them, so I took them out again - rather than pay me to do it, he offered me the pickups and wiring loom. I've sold one pickup and the loom and that's paid for half the Tensor already !
I've also found a cheaper solution to my midi set up than using two midiboxes - I made up a pair of one in - four out TRS boxes and they pass the signal without any bother, so I can sell off an Empress Midibox 2 which will make up the rest of the Tensor cost along with the other pickup.
I'm sure I'll still pick up the odd pedal now and again to try out, but I'm covered for pretty much everything I can think of for now.

One just popped up in B / S / T for a CRaZy price. Jump on it before I buy a 2nd tensor

Land HP-2 Harmonic Percolator clone arrived on Friday - sounded too bassy into my Iridium but then I switched to my Pathfinder 15 and it's awesome. I need to find another Pathfinder for a stereo setup. Deep regrets not snapping up the Pathfinder stack (15W head + 2x10 cabinet) that I saw on Craigslist last year.

I’m routinely on the verge of offloading my Pathfinder but it doesn’t quite happen. And it is just such a good, useful amp. Remove the LED clipping diodes and it’s such a good pedal platform.
I’m on the verge of a decluttering gear purge and mine might go this time. I’m gonna have to find contentment that I’m not going to regret that one.

Nice! I have been wanting to pick up an A4 for a while. I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on it after you have a chance to play around with it for a while.

Will report back!
The MK1s just den like such a good deal right now. Like 4 monosynths with the elektron sequencer for 550€. I know it does much more than that, but already at that description I’d be interested

Yeah I agree, that's a solid price too. I have a friend who has the MKII and loves it but I'd prefer the MK1 for the form factor. The MKII looks huge. I've just been waiting for one to pop up.

Picked up an used Legator Ghost Overdrive 6 on Reverb because I wanted something light and multiscale but didn’t want 7 Or more strings. (And Strandbergs used seem hard to come by, at least in 6 strings, right now.) it has a brown-ish stain on burl finish that may grow on me, or may just annoy me.
Looking forward to messing around with a new guitar. Going off the previous owner’s Youtube review it was only used for metal. May swap pickups for something more vintage-y, but may have to find a blade humbucker that isn’t also intended for metal to do that. (Not sure that regular humbucker pole pieces will line up with multiscale strings since the pickups are also angled.) I may end up ordering these double-lipstick humbucker pickups in black for it.

^ that's sweet!
Strandberg were using Lace Alumitones for a while so that's probably a good option too if you wanted lower output pickups.

Lace made some Jazz pickups too, but they seem fairly rare and I’ve only seen them in a gold finish.
