Hey Guys,
I'm new around here...not good at these introductions but here we go...Name is Shaun, 30 year old teacher (I know I’m cool) I’m from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and I love all music, synthesizers, and especially pedals! I primarily play for fun and enjoy finding out about new bands. I currently play an American Standard Tele through a Dr. Z Carman Ghia with lots of pedals (I just started getting into gear and I'm becoming obsessed). I also like playing acoustic (I know that’s not very popular around here :)...but I love my Martin! I’m looking forward to learning lots from reading though your posts...and I'm always looking to find out about new bands (and pedals) so keep me posted : )

hi my name is aaron and im an volumeholic. Im addicted to doom, drone, sludge, and groooooovy ass metal. Ive been called eccentric by guitar store employees more then once by more then 1 dude. i like ideas of a 1,000 watt tube head being slammed by a big nasty fuzz pedal pourin out of 2 8x12 speaker cabs. i play gibson guitars but i wont pay over 500$ for one. I mod guitars until theres nothin stock left then i mod it more. im 23 years old and married to a wonderful woman that understands my motto of "too much is never enough" she says "at least its not hookers and blow" :thumb: I love girthy loud ass amps. someday i hope to learn how to build amps down to winding the transformers so my love for retarded over power'd tube amps can be shared.

Hey there,

I'm Michael, and I am the designer of Probes Pedals. Started designing a little over a year and a half ago, on a design that has taken a lot of time and effort which is still being worked on. A fuzz pedal is coming out in the next month and half though so keep your eyes peeled, and your ears open! Probes Pedals is based out of Andover, MN (just north of Minneapolis/St. Paul area.) Currently sell true bypass loopers called the "Super Looper" in any number of channels you'd like.

It's exciting being here on ILF with the fuzz pedal coming out soon!

I'd love to get to know a bunch of you!

HELL-O ilovefuzz.com.
I can't believe its taken me this long to find this site and participate.
My name is cole, I play bass and I am now intensely addicted to fuzz.
It all started with a then 'cheap' green sovtek big muff in the mid 90's.
I moved onto a rat when that one was stolen while on tour many years ago.
Now I really enjoy finding fuzz clones, tweaking the circuits and rehousing them if nesc.
I own more pedals than I could ever use and for some reason, that doesn't bother me or my wife.
Aside from family and friends, my other loves are Sovtek Tube Heads, Sunn Solid State Heads, Kramer Lummy Basses, Teisco Basses and Japanese Scooters.

Nice to meet you all.

Hi ILF , i'm Paul , 20 years old , coming from France so excuse me if my english isn't always perfect ;)
So... , yep i'm here because i like pedals , and all about guitar gear.
I'm really addicted in guitar gear. (seriously)
I usually play guitar about 2h/day , experimenting with my pedalboard , and listen to a lot of music : jazz , ambient , experimental , post rock , math rock , funk , folk , prog rock , psyche , noise , stoner , old school hip hop , dubstep , minimal etc...
Some of my favourite artist : Pink Floyd , Brian eno , Godspeed you black emperor! , Harold budd , John frusciante , Omar rodriguez lopez , Toe , Lite , Alva noto ,Tarentel , Celer , Bvdub , Yagya ,GAS (yep an ambient/drone guy :yay: ), Atheus , Miles davis , Jaco pastorius , georges benson etc...(that list is long , very long  )

And this is my youtube channel ,there is some of my ambient/looping stuff :http://www.youtube.com/user/Xoupette

Hell-Ooo all you FUZZFREAKS!!! Noize Noize Noize musics for zeros. Yeah i'm a pedal freak also. Basically anything to make my guitar not sound like a guitar but I do love The Byrds and the chimy thang. Sixties garage 77 punk STOOGES-MONKS garage trash CRAMPS free jazz SUN RA-ALBERT AYLER psych 13TH FLOOR ELEVATORS ambient ENO noize doom SUNN O -Ufomammut-Wolves in the Throne Room avant black metal RESIDENTS BEEFHEART weirdness would be where I FALL. Modular synths circuit bent handmade Atomic Sonic type devices. ''Taking drugs to make music to take drugs to'' would be my motto accept I don't drink, smoke or take drugs. These days bikes and noize are my drugs.I need to find a digital camera to post some pictures of my gear. I am kinda a computer idiot, thats why it took so long to post this intro.
I try to 4 track every day.Lay a little something down here a little something there. Tascam 424 for the past 10-15 years I need to figure out the computer maybe some one here can point me in the right direction but thats for later.
When people ask me what kinda music I play I usually say ''If the Cramps and Throbbing Gristle had a baby and that baby was time warped back to 1966 and grew up on The Rolling Stones and then discoverd ACID (kidz of pebbles vol 3) and then there grandkidz said f**k the hippie lets tear this s**t up with some avant black metal doom.... Darn I play punk rock!!!
I like this site a lot better than Harmony Central and some of the other sites if visited. Those sites seemed a little to main stream and commercial.
So far since discovering this site I've obtained: Ab Synth (Fuzzfactory was always my favorite modern fuzz never thought it could be beat) ,Seppuku Sub Octave , DBA Octave Klang & Montreal Assembly's-Probability of a Fax (can't wait for the bit crusher). I've been using the Effector 13 Soda Meiser and Tri Fuzz since 2004. 4ms Noize Swash,Phaseur Fleur,Nocto Loco & Tremulus Lune are some of my favorites. I am a FUZZ thru Phasor freak nothing more blissed out than this. I had over ten phasers at one time.
I play modular synth(Synthesizers.com) in a garage trash band The Shirley Rolls out here in Los Angeles, kind bubble gum stooges type stuff. Enough for now hope that rant wasn't to Krazy.
Later Randy
ps I just got a Seppuku Repeater from some one here gear gear and more gear!!!

Hey All,
I recently stumbled on this little gem of a site, glad I did. My name is Matt, I live in Florida on the Treasure Coast. When I'm not slaving in the heat with my "day gig" I love to play guitar & make music with my friends. I am in a band that plays a little bit of everything (mostly covers) we're called the Humdingers. I love all things LOUD & FUZZY with a touch of controlled feedback. I'm really looking forward to more fuzzy fun in the future. I'd rather not post my age, but over my 25 year span as a musician I have amassed what I feel to be a nice collection of guitars, amps, pedals, & most importantly FUZZ. If you live in my area, come see our band, you'll have a good time. Check us out, thehumdingers.net.
Cheers,
Matt

Heya, found this site looking for good info on DIY stuff, but I end up spending a majority of my time drooling over the B/S/T forum. Recently became a total effects freak and I love finding out about all the crazy stuff indie builders are doing on here!
