Bending notes with octavers and pitch shifters can be tricky, but it's not impossible if the tracking is good, you feel like it tracks better on lower octaves?

True, the thing tracks very well, octave down tracked open low b on a bass, the octave up tracks good it just bending sounds digital like using the bend wheel on a keyboard.

16gb per stick/3600mhz. Just need the processor and windows now to get the new beast running, then more hard drives & extra guts can be added later.

That's exactly what I like about the neck pickups on both these instruments; it adds a surprising amount of low end. I have no idea if they're weird sized, they appear to be the same sized as mini-humbuckers, but I don't have any other mini-humbuckers to compare them to

If they're anything like the identical looking pickups on my Eastwood Wandre, they're the typical ridiculously overwound overseas made bog with brass plates. They're meant to look like Firebird pickups, but like many (most) of the latter-day Gibson FB pups, they sound nothing like one. Good news is, they're probs easily replaceable by other standard-sized FB or mini-bucker pups. A Firebird pickup wound like the OGs to roughly vintage specs would actually sound pretty decent in there, I'd warrant....

saw a good deal on a fuzz probe, which is a pedal i have wanted for years and years now, so jumped on it

also trading my rv500 for a particle 2! super stoked, i love my tensor and really wanted to take a chance after loving the particle 1 but not being able to completely gel with it for some things solved in v2!

good to know, noted for future self-gifts. Christmas is in 8 months, right?

On the way (here on Thursday, hopefully) is a Meris Hedra, plus I've ordered some heavy (12-56) strings for my hacked-about Charvette, which recently had a pair of cheap chinese hot rails fitted, so I can tune it to C-C or similar. I might end up getting a Squier Bass VI but I thought I'd try a cheaper option first

I've got one or two other pedals on my wishlist, lots of time on my hands and some funds incoming which will let me splurge a bit now and again.




oops - I've bought a Polymoon too.

Finally picked up an Infinite Jets in a trade, so that's on its way...surprisingly, have not been feeling much GAS recently...

My lock down splurge has continued, I'd like to think there is a purpose behind it, but deep down I suspect it's just that having some spare cash has triggered an urge to spend it as quickly as possible.

Fingers crossed I've finished the major purchases for now.

So far two Meris pedals have arrived (Ottobit Jr. and Polymoon) with one more on the way (Hedra).

Added to that I have bought a Morningstar MC6 (here) an Empress Midibox 2 (on the way) and FINALLY (please, no more!) a Subdecay M3 Synth.

Armed with that lot I'm looking to make some more melodic music for a while, we'll see.

Meris must have ended their sale. Darn it.

DBA Apocalypse came yesterday. Gotta wait next week to test it, but it looks so good that meanwhile i'm gonna use it as ornament.

Just picked up an Echo Dream and a DD-5. This is my fourth or fifth DD5. I keep selling them and keep coming back.

ive wanted a dd5 on and off, they seem nice
