After being ampless for a few years it was decided that I really should get something for testing purposes, so... Ampeg GVT52-112 inbound. Seems to be a good fit for me: nice price, not too big or heavy, half wattage option for apartment life, sorta Fendery cleans, should fill a niche that the HX Stomp doesn't cover. I think I'm going to like it.

Why not sell the credit to someone? I bet you can snag oh I dunno, maybe $22 for it?

What about a capo and a couple slides? Having spares of those is always phenomenal.
I treat strings like gas for my car. I pretend it's not a real expense or a part of my budget.... then I read my credit card statement. Spoiler alert... it's a real expense

Realized I don't have a volume pedal so I used a 15% coupon plus my credit to get a Boss FV-30H. Now my volume swells will be masterful. Everyone gird your loins for my upcoming new age album available
only by mail order.

This is the past few weeks...
Some stuff has left already. I am currently doing a board redesign and working on programming some of the more advanced featureful boxes I have...more excess stuff will go soon, but here's what's new-ish. My music is starting to go down new rabbit holes and I am really liking the new direction(s)!

Love it! How's the Po 20? I would love to mess with its videogameish sounds someday.

got a Boss RV500 the other day which is siiiiick. but now i kind of miss the simplicity of my RRR? gotta spend more time programming it i reckon and not give up immediately like i did with the DD500
board feeling ~good and nearly done~ for a while. i really want an infanem driving notion but they are going for way too much $$$ now

i should have never sold mine///got another when they were selling for $99

Sounds are great but it does chords too! I need to figure out the feature set...been hard to pry it from my kids since it arrived.

Hahahaha, well if kids can mess with it there's a good chance that I can do it without much trouble

I saw the chords feature from the videos, and it was one of the things that caught me, curious to hear some first hand impressions.

Got the chance to trade a reverb for an AC noises AMA, should be here soon. They are basically my neighbors but never got the chance/interest to try some of their stuff, curious to hear it.
Then flip it, because I know I only want one reverb in my life.

I've had the GVT52 for a few days now. I can't crank it, but it sounds good enough at apartment levels that I wish I could... I don't like its reverb, but pedals will solve that.
Pedals I use to supplement the HX Stomp: MOOD, SSBS F*ck, Oceans 11, and an expression pedal for whammies.

what are you using the hx stomp for primarily? i looked at those for a long time, but have always never had cash when one popped up for dirt cheap used online. i have a zoom that i love that covers tons of ground as a tiny all in one unit for live stuff when space is limited, didn't know what you like about and use the hx for in your own life

The Stomp is my amp, tuner, whammy, modulation, and delay, and sometimes drive/compressor. I don't like its reverbs. I adore the Twin amp model in particular, it sounds just like I want it to.

I can have 4 or more delays on the board and be totally cool with it, but reverbs? A really good one is enough.
