Many comparisons to alternate versions of the same circuit await.

Agreed! Never knew it was a circuit board issue. Huge pet peeve of mine. Put the stomp at the bottom. You know, away from the knobs.BetterOffShred wrote:I really hate when people put the stomp like 2" from the bottom. We get it, you want it mounted to the circuit board so you don't have to run wires, and PCBs are based off square inches .. but it's janky. Quit being cheap dudes, use a ribbon cable or actually solder 7ish wires. No more middle of the pedal stomp switch. B
Yeah most PCB manufactures charge by square Cm or inch etc, so making your board as small as possible is key. Then having onboard components makes it that much easier to solder up.. the downside of course is that everything gets closer together. It's a clear sign of someone trying to maximize profits. And that's cool.. It's just not for medugwolf wrote:Agreed! Never knew it was a circuit board issue. Huge pet peeve of mine. Put the stomp at the bottom. Last gifted DIY fuzz I moved the switch up to try to fit the battery but it didn't fit, anyway. I'll do it your way next time.BetterOffShred wrote:That's terrible too, what is this 1967?![]()
Put the stomp at the bottom and the battery above. Boom
Sorry, bad eyesight and small phonescreen are not a good combo when it comes to notice details.Ugly Nora wrote:They are filled! No holes, my friend. He did a nice job. It was funny...when I brought it in, the guy (shop owner) said "are you sure you want to do this"? You could tell he thought it was a dumb idea. Then, when I picked it up he was so happy with the way it turned out that he is making a cheap fretless guitar for himself.
David contacted me only hours after I placed my order to ask if it was okay that the pedal was still 3-4 weeks from being finalized. What a champ!UglyCasanova wrote:Pre-ordered a Drone Rainger.
