I tell him the same thing but we all know I'm the tyrant in our mariage
To me modulations are tricky. I've bonded with very few and I usually only like to modulate drones or delay repeats and verb trails. I use it sparingly, and that's why there's no room for those on my board. I happily keep a BF2, a Behringer Phaser, a Small Clone and the Trem/Gate on the Koma BD-101 around for those modulation moments, but in the spare pedals bin.

Yeah, to me it tends to end up with "Why modulate when I can mådderfakkin glætch, sønn!"

When/if we all get together next year I'll bring both of my Gristlizers and you will see the light.
Unrelatedly, since you're talking about drones and modulation and since maybe people don't know: Skychord's gone back to their original name "King Capitol Punishment" and there are some Sleepdrones and Glamour Boxes in stock at analogue heaven (there's also a GB in B/S/T right now): http://analoguehaven.com/kingcapitolpunishment/
I'm glad I could send my Desi Parva to a good home but I'm a big fan of this company, whatever the name. I know a few people on ILF (active and not so active) swear by their Cloudbusters, although those seem to be out of production atm.

The problem with sleepdrones is that rucci drone machines sound so much better

Soooo... mixers? What are tabletop types using?
Been considering this a while but I want to get started since I realised the other day how much I like my guitar situation right now, I want to start integrating synth and other instruments into my setup in a sensible way that isn't me tangled up in a rats nest with three amps. Hence mixers.
As far as I can think I'm only looking for something really simple, volume for each input and master volume. Don't see myself needing anything else. Multiple outputs is probably something I would use but not all the time so it would have to be able to do mono too. Probably 4 inputs and a couple of outputs?? Small is key. I know you have a cool little 4 channel UC, who made that? That's the sort of level I'm looking at unless anyone can convince me of the benefits of more being more

Dear DoS,
Please bring your gristilizers to my country.

Hypnodrone did. He's a member here, but not overly active. You can find him under the same name on facebook and instagram.
I have a behringer q1202 mixer also. Works for me, but then again I'm not very picky when it comes to how hifi my sound is.

It's on the to-do list. Need to get to Aus before all of my extended family friends (how's that for a fucking tenuous connection) die off.

Holy shit. Haha. That's what I get for playing final fantasy and trying to ILF post while battling monsters.

Nice. I'm too paranoid about losing the perfect boosting auto swell setting I've got dialed in, I need to get a second for actual experimentation. Surprised there are more people building them and more people using them.

I think it's because it's doesn't jump out as a QUIRKY EXPERIMENTAL EFFECT™ in the guitar demos that are out there. If you only had that between your instrument and your amp you'd never confuse it for something that OBNE might make, for example.

I've been wanting to try one of those, but that arcade button has me a concern.

I'd like to see some of those arcade buttons on these, TK Smith's "budget" line guitars:
