Dude the Sweetwater guy Damon emailed back and forth with me for like a week after I got the minifooger delay. It kind of blew my mind.

I like that Sweetwater calls and talks to me about the gear I just bought because I'm probably just as bored during the day as they are.

Oh yeah, I got a DOD Gunslinger last weekend. One of those $30 sales. I tried to get one before on a previous sale and they were out of stock. I haven't played it yet, maybe this weekend.

I dig it man. Instant pinch harmonics, but it sounds pretty beast even low-medium gain.

Still no Drone Thing today (hopefully tomorrow), so instead I've sanded, cleaned and sprayed the first coat of primer on the Into The Unknown.

I've found a can of what should look like polished copper, so I might try a couple of coats of that and go multi-coloured if I don't like it.

Next thing to do is go through the bags of bits and check and mark everything so I know what I'm doing when I start soldering (which won't be until next week).

Another happy $30 gunslinger purchaser It sounds different than any other drive I have. Mostly where the eq sits I think, but even the gain has something to it.

It's mad good for $30. Just saying. You won't regret it

As marykelly said elsewhere it sounds good on down tuned stuff too for sure. My 8 string down to low E sounds pretty nice through it. And then my Les Paul in C with a 500T shred's faces off with high gain.

All around great device.
