You know if you weren't constantly buying awesome things, you could have afforded Cortini's Swarmatron....

An ILF 2017 Edition Fuzzhugger Velcrobot should also be arriving soon and a preordered Pigtronix Mothership 2 will land sometime in September. My upcoming 40th birthday will certainly be a noisy one :doom:

Hey Grandpa, take it easy with all the typing or your arthritis might flare up. Also happy early birthday. Geiger Counter vs Scrutator? Hmmm.

40 is the new 23 (or so I'd like to believe). Given only one of them has a blend control, there may be room for both in the synth, filter, and modulation pedal drawer.

Just teasing because I am only a few years younger and the average age around here seems to skew a bit younger. Looking forward to your opinion of the Geiger Counter. My Biscuit is supposed to be here today.

I have that same spaceship. It's my secret weapon.

Most distinctive pedal in the dark ever.

Since starting with modular synths I've had my eyes on this controller. It's based on the Onde Martenot which was invented in 1928 (look it up if you don't know it!). This version was created at the request of Johnny Greenwood of Radiohead to control his modular synths and ultimately a small run of them were made. There is a ring suspended below the physical keyboard the user can glide from note to note (think vibrato, theramin sounds, etc) or you can use the keyboard. So you have this unique way to control mixed with gate output, trigger output, XY joystick etc. the Magic with the updated version is you're not stuck with one sound as you can control anything within your modular system. Finally sold off enough gear to fund this purchase. This is the Analogue Systems French Connection.
