My pedal board life has been turned upside down since my ES-8 crapped the bed. In the interim whilst I figure things out, I put together this guitar board and really happy with it. Need to put together a bass board.

i wish all pedals came with the kind of deep translucent finish of the big green boi.

That must be the smallest cosmicevan board ever
Nice setup, but that Taken placed horizontally hurts me

by the time the looper board is done i'll have more money tied up in effects devices than in my car.

My pedals are worth three or four times the value of my car.

the Muza FD900 arrived today. it takes a little time to figure out because the wet/dry mixes are controlled by knobs labeled LEVEL. once i sorted that--it's amazing what you can do when you RTFM--but i'm getting to like it now that everything isn't utterly drenched in reverb. the sound is good, but as of now i still prefer the RV-3 because it doesn't sound as digital. i think i can figure out how to warm it up some with a couple days' fiddling. so when the ROYGBIV--which i've dubbed ROYGBIV DEVOE--arrives tomorrow i'll have everything for the front-end board. it looks like everything's going to fit, but it'll have my customary packed-to-the-gills aesthetic. i need to measure, but i might be able to squeeze an Instant Lo-Fi Junky above the Muza but it'll require one of those 55-gallon drums of lube they sell on Amazon.

having been looking at pedalboards on Reverb, the question came to me, "who are these fucking animals who put the hook side of the velcro on their boards?" i can only assume they have no pets, no girl, no hair, and never eat at home. the shit that gets stuck to the hook pieces on my pedals are bad enough, but at least i don't see it every time i plug in.

i hated my zvex machine! how you like yours?
The Eddy sounds/feels similar to a Small Clone or OG big box Clone Theory in terms of texture. A Noisereap Asstone (wave folding distortion) is crammed next to the Zoom Ultra Fuzz. I waited many years before pulling the trigger on a Machine (looking for an affordable price), which has been enjoyable at times as a lo-fi filter, though something like a LAL Rattle Crow would be more noizegasmic in the same context.

Managed to buy them all on clearance, so maybe there's been some inflation in prices since? I'm currently driving the same Saturn I've owned for the past 20 years, so, either way, they're probably worth more than my car as well.

what's the little orange guy? from the typography it looks like an embryonic Tone Bender.

KO Amps power booster clone. It is nothing like a tonebender, Just a really loud booster with eq that runs on 18v

I've used it for fuzz too! It kinda craps out when you crank the bass and you get this weird clean but fuzz sound. I dont know what makes it look better than other minis but i guess its cause its just your average mom n pop pedal but tiny
