I had a sunny day delay and it never bonded with me. I was sad because I was so hyped about that pedal - now your making me want to try it again. I will vouch for Dr Scientist for making just ultra stellar rad stuff. The Bitquest gas is growing for me, I dont know if I can last until after Christmas.

Spent the last few years trying to convince myself I don't need pedals anymore... Welcome back to me I guess? Haha. Wired this up today and cannot wait to take it to the space Wednesday.

Taking my pedalbord to space also, if I ever get on a SpaceX flight. I want to make noise for moon rocks.

The hummingbird was the first eqd pedal I ever tried but I was hugely disappointed by the volume drop it caused - can't tell if it was my signal chain at the time ore else.

DD-5 mod is for tap tempo?
I've been on the edge from grabbing a somersault a couple of times but then opted for the Woozy.

Both killer boards btw, any of you got a recent Tensor and updated the new firmware for the 8-seconds loop thing?

DD-5 is a tap tempo mod. It pretty much covers all my bases as far as delay goes. I keep coming back to it after trying out new delays with shinier bells and whistles.

I like the Somersault a lot. It's got a surprising range of sounds from chorus to a pseudo flange to lofi warped vinyl stuff. The havoc switch is a nice touch, too. I'm still going back and forth with whether I like it more in front of or after the Fuck, but they play really nice together either way.

Just got the Tensor and haven't updated the firmware yet, but will report back. Thinking of picking up a switcher to turn it into a DL4 looper.

I checked and it sucks! There are atleast 3 more elements colours out there. Also how do you not double cosmi?

I gave my other cosmi to the other guitarist in my band.

So the way the board is working - I tried to make shit simpler, but it just got too hard to sing and switch pedals, so I've kinda gone back to how I used to do things, but with less pedals. Tuner first, then into the Henretta comp/envelope. Comp is set at less than unity, so in the unlikely event I need to play clean it will clean up a bit and the compression will make up for the loss of volume. The envelope is so I can do wah stuff without having to use my foot.

Then it goes into a home made A/B where one side is to the black Elements (set on high gain) and the other is to the copper Elements set on low gain. Both Elements are always on. Then it goes into a Penny Pedals Radio Deluxe (the pink raptor) and then the cosmi, then into the black One Control Looper. It goes into the Meet Maude then the BitQuest then the Sunny Day Delay. The looper is rad because it has tails.

The SDD is always on, and at a fairly long delay, maybe 600 ms or so IIRC. Just set nice for shreds and general purpose delaying. When I need more washed out stuff I'll add the Meet Maude which is at a shorter delay time. They're set up to be roughly in time with each other but the MM is a division of the SDD. The BQ is on a near infinite verb. I'll add this if I really need #ambientnotes. So the three delayish things are all activated by the one switch.

In the context of the music I make, I essentially have 3 switches to press in any one song, and they are all close by.

So that's the story of my pedal board.

Thanks MrNovember for the insta help.
Very nice board Goroth! Very simple to use!

I haven't noticed a volume drop with it really but it's used in a sparing way most of the time... just some chop on feedback or wahtever.

I haven't updated firmware or looked yet, but good shout! I use it for pretty short stuff most of the time as it's last in the chain and generally i just wanna save some noise or something useless of that type to pitch around with the expression pedal.

hi ILF!!!! long time player first time poster. here's the board i've been slowly adding to for years. newest addition is the fairfield accountant, which is a "holy shit never turn it off pedal". updated my tensor and have that running to a remote4. signal chain goes from the tuner and out at the fabrikat, literally just in a line from right to left, top to bottom. nothin crazy.

fav pedal in this chain is probably the 856 or the romferd. the 856 is such an amazing box that is very misunderstood and very much more intimidating than it is difficult to use. the presets are a blessing, and it kinda does everything? I love it for offset pitch trails and stutters that follow the playing. and i really never liked chorus but the romferd is amazing, i love using it with no sway as a metallic resonator by pushing the feedback, or a modulated delay. just everything. PurPLL is a monster and i love the sample buffer, especially with the "nasty" buffer dipswitch, which holds a lot more memory and is way more erratic.

One of the best first posts ever. Great board, 10/10 would get lost in for hours upon end. :zen:
