I don't know the Waza Craft model, but a standard MT-2 came into my house again recently ... and will leave it again! That's my fourth MT-2 and still it has only one decent sound IMO.retinal orbita wrote:Hell yeah no hate for the Metal Zone here friend!

Thanks!! I'm a big fan of your board, the metalzone only barely edges out the death metal for me. I want to see if I can cram a GCI Stockwell into my digitech to make a hybrid of the two.retinal orbita wrote:Hell yeah no hate for the Metal Zone here friend!

Re: Metalzone, I have always loved it and it was the second pedal I ever bought. I have a few now and I think with some easy mods it can be made a bit more versatile but its not for everyone of course. I mainly use the Waza on the stock MT-2 setting and its on the board just because it cost more and I want to convince myself it was worth it haha. I do think the waza tuner is worth it though because other tuners have given me trouble with my six string bass and this one does not.

I have been intrigued by the waza line for a while. I tried a few of them several years ago (at a festival of all places) and they seemed good. I can definitely foresee a world where I swap more stuff out for BOSS lol

Ah man I gotta get myself a death metal. The metal zone is pretty sick, but in that range the heavy metal is a clear winner. But that is a great board my dude, I really dig how much power you've packed into the size of it. The dispatch master is excellent as wellKasrkin wrote:Thanks!! The keeley molded metal zone on bass is my jam. I play bass for a grind/power violence band though so I guess I should say in that setting it sounds sick haha

Haven't had the time to play a lot with it yet, but I like it. Been using Room-mode the most, and it sounds great. Need to explore more!Dowi wrote:ognoy wrote:![]()

Got rid of most of the homemade pedals on my board and put some cooler stuff on there. Mini and Cafetiere work very nicely together.

How is the boxxydizer? I never hear people talk about it but everybody talks about the rusty. Only info I have is that it possibly has a bassman tonestack instead of the traynor thingKingNed wrote:

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
New miniboard:

This is the collision of the idea that I should really start focusing on technique more than gear for a bit (and thus step away from the 20 pedal mothership) and the simultaneous acquisition of three new delays in one week. It's still a work in progress: not sure if the fuzz spot will be the modified Hyperion shown here, a Ram's Head Clone that Betteroffshred made, or a Pig Pile (when I can get it). Also the modulation is bound to change: I originally had my MXR Analog Chorus but then thought that the Slo provided enough chorusy stuff and I should go with phaser to make my leads spacier; now I'm missing chorus and trying to decide if I want a Mod11 for flexibility or a Julia for awesome. I'm also not sold on the Freeze, though I'm growing to understand it. Finally, I keep thinking about removing the looper or the tuner and adding something in their places (Mel9 or Tera Echo would be the most likely candidates) (though those are pretty foundational on the mothership and I'm trying to switch things up, so...)
