I actually snagged the 0-Coast as a compliment to my 3U. We'll see how that pans out in a month or so (fucking slow free shipping nonsense).

DM is great. Their free shipping (and Foxtone's) usually reaches me in AZ in 2 days (Perfect circuit will take their sweetass time). DM also gives discount points for each purchase, which you can save up and use whenever you want.
EXACTLY. BURNING EYE IMPATIENT CAT OVER HERE.

yur. DM was super responsive and shipped Monday (i ordered Sunday), should be here tomorrrrroowwwwwww.

Pretty much.... I'm trying to plan my next euro expansion to make the core of a potentially larger audio/video system, while still being able to operate without connecting to a larger system. I guess I'm trying to plan a modular modular?

tbh that is the best way to go, I think. Smaller units that can still talk to each other.

I think that makes the most sense? I also think it'll provide a nice barrier to expanding initially. I just can't decide between a 84hp or 104 hp case.... I have plans for both sizes and both are appealing for different reasons...

I can't. The two systems I've designed use nearly the same modules. I just can't decide if the extra video modules would be worth the space....

The 104 system:

The 84 system:

That is a lot of not very much tied up in a lot of space, I think, depending on what you're using the Lifeforms for.

Really? I thought it seemed really compact? Currently the lifeforms is what I have, and I've just been using it for fairly traditional/east-coast synth stuff. In this system it would be a single voice synth and provide voltage sources for video, two LFOs, two mults, and two two-channel mixers? Seems like a really handy thing in a smallish standalone system?

I can't quite see what's on either since I'm on my phone, and I'd need to envision it in your workflow, I think. But the 84hp is only showing a lifeforms and a bridge and a small one I can't quite make out? (I'll be on a proper computer later so I might just have posted too soon).

On the plus side I was able to upgrade my shipping so I won't have to spend my whole trip away worried that someone has poached my 0-Coast. new ETA is thursday. :thumb:
