haha no i understand its uncomplicated for you. I'm sure it'll be really nice to do this as opposed to rearranging all the time (which I never really do I suppose, so we are looking at it from very different angles)Ruiner wrote:Anxiety from what? Expression pedals control the level of both Zooms, which each have settings suitable for low and high frequencies. So octaver, fuzz etc. on the lows, and chorus, reverb, overdrive etc. on the highs. The MXR is set so when in clean mode the volume is all the way down, thus I just get sound from the Zooms. When I kick on the distortion it runs in parallel to the split channels so the effects are unaltered. One of the cool things about having a crossover in the mix is that I can fade the highs in and out subtly to hit the Blue Tube with different tones, or more dramatically and use it like a wah. Doing the same with the Low side gives me wubs galore. Love this setup.
