Man, it's the dogshit pedal of people's childhood still. It probably the longest track record of being shit, but it's making its comeback before it's discontinuation, which is remarkableD.o.S. wrote:Yeah I chuckled. Also the Metal Zone was the dogshit pedal of my childhood. Would love to try one again now that I'm not playing with 14 year olds.
I've been on a big Placebo kick lately (ducks) and have really been digging the more metallic/clang-y distortion Molko used on the Black Market Music album/tour. Turns out it's the MT-2. I already paid money for a Driving Notion to purposely sound like bees in a jar.D.o.S. wrote:Yeah I chuckled. Also the Metal Zone was the dogshit pedal of my childhood. Don't you make me regret this!Pepe wrote:The MT-2 has exactly ONE setting with slightly increased mids that I really like. Sounds like an instant late '80s Steve Lukather lead sound with the ability to cut through the mix. Apart from that the MT-2 produces a lot of mud and famous bees in a jar with scooped mids.
Just don't decrease the mids.hotknife wrote:Don't you make me regret this!Pepe wrote:The MT-2 has exactly ONE setting with slightly increased mids that I really like.
