i'm leaving a little early to see a midnight screening of fantastic planet ( ) so i only finished 17 today. up to 80!
taking a half-day tomorrow so i can keep some sanity, but i'll probably do another 6-8 then finish up on sunday
also, kbit deserves MVP of the year so be sure to buy him a drink or give him a puff if you hang. he has helped out a ungodly fuckload for this thing and basically built like 1/3 to 1/2 of the pcbs and put all of the knobs on, etc. so i can handle the main construction and assembly. any backplate art can be credited to him as well
Wow, you really know how to have fun when prepping for a tour...produce a shit load of pedals for days, then hit the road.
Bar should be fun. You guys should check out the Spaceland Complex in Hamden next time. A friend owns it. Cool venue, and I think can host a bigger crowd than Bar.
I'm trying to move some stuff around to see you when you are in Portland, but my wife is out of town that week, leaving me with my small human that still requires adults in the house...
Actually, as a Pizza fan in New Haven, you are in Pizzanervana.
Bar has kick ass pizza, but really you need to get to Modern Pizza. I think they are the best all around. If you have time, Pepe's or Sally's on Wooster Street is the birthplace of Pizza. Honorable mention: Louis Lunch invented the Hamburger and is also in walking-ish distance from Bar. Yale Art museums are free and surprisingly good as well, if you need to kill some time.

some would call it fun, some might not lol. 9-13 hour workdays for like 3 weeks in a row,
i still do love it though.
will check out the complex for sure - bar is probably about our size but maybe next time would be good. if you can hang in portland that would be rad but if not it's understandable... small humans need attention too! will for sure check out the pizza scene in hamden. i'm a pretty massive pizza snob so i'll give my thorough opinion. thanks for the recommendations!

We should have a game show à la Name That Tune
Inconuucl: I can shoegaze that tune with 5 pedals.
other contestant: I can shoegaze that tune with 4 pedals.

other contestant: OK, shoegaze that tune!

Super excited to get my hands on these. You guys are doing amazing work. Crazy how fast you knocked out the 100.
By the way, holy shit that album is amazing. Only listened to a couple songs and they're great. How have I never heard of it before?
Brian, yr LP leaked this AM. While I am sorry to propagate the shitty leak culture and whatever, I pre-ordered 2 copies already so
Anyways, this shit sounds amazing. Y'all knocked it out of the dang park again. These last 3 LPs have all come out at the exact time I need that music and insight in my life, so thanks for ya know, doin' what you love. The sounds & textures on this album are so stellar, I can't wait to dissect it further
Also if anyone wants to know what 96 Pretty Years look like on one surface, CEG's drummer posted a nice picture of just that
