Haha yeah all that stuff is terrible... I've probably been watching too much MST3K lately and now I can't tell bad movies from good ones and I just like everything. *shrug*

Always Sunny season finale tonight!

Those movies are different, they're straight up comedies.

MST3K on the other hand, can't get enough of that.

Which old series? I think most of them are pretty good, but I still like the Tom Baker stuff the best.

By new I mean the current century's doctor who. I've really enjoyed David tennant and Matt smith. Was the old series broken up by doctor or something? I thought it was broadcast without much of a break between seasons.

I don't really know too much about how things are broken down and classified when it comes to Doctor Who, but I know what I enjoy watching. I haven't seen any of the Matt Smith episodes, but've liked the David Tennant ones I've seen. I think the original series ran continuously through the end of the Eighties. Then it was revived again sometime during the mid-2000s.

I love the new Dr. Who too, all three of the new Doctors have been awesome in my opinion. I've tried to get into the old stuff too, there's been maybe 10 Doctors going back to the 60s. The old ones are.. more... I don't know, low key? than the new ones... they're not for everybody. I'm talking pretty bad sets and outfits and you need a lot of imagination to get into it, in my opinion.

The 2005+ series are so fun though, one of my favourite shows ever and my favourite thing about Christmas too!

I remember watching some old doctor who reruns when I was little and not liking it for those exact reasons. I ordered part of season 12 with Tom baker to see if my opinion of it has changed. There's a good chance I'll like it, I'm a pretty big fan of low production values and lots of imagination now.

The original Dr. Who was awesome, at least partly because you had to use your imagination.
I liked Patrick Troughton but grew up on Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker. Lost interest when Peter Davidson came along (come on, he's Tristan Farnon from All Creatures Great and Small) ... was horrified when I found out they had Sylvester McCoy and Bonnie bloody Langford and haven't really watched it since.

Always reminded me of Quatermass ...

I loved Blake's 7 too ... anyone else remember that? Sapphire & Steel ?

Douglas Adams wrote a bunch of Dr. Who episodes around the Tom Baker era. All the good ones.
Good deals done with all these guys

Whoa that's cool, I didn't know that! I've heard that before, that the Tom Baker era is the best, and I'll definitely be checking that out, those Adams episodes must be awesome!

Ryan, I think you should build a Doctor Who pedal.

Dr. Scientist does Doctor Who.

Who knows what it'll do?

The Doctor, that's who.

So, Always Sunny. I was very impressed with this season, and feel like it's the best in a few years. But the second part of the finale (aside from Dennis' outburst and the dance at the end) was a bit of a let down.

What say you, good peoples?
