I'll definitely let you know! My impetus to buy it is to route 4 separate signals live & not have the mix sound like shit. The presets are a huge plus for that application specifically, but I'm excited to use it as a MIDI mixer for my DAW. The good thing about the KMix is even if they pads are sensitive, you can just save your mix when you're happy with it and return if you accidentally make any mistakes.

spent more time with the Old Blood Noise Endeavors - Utility Headphone Amp.
hooked up some Audio Technica ATH-M40x (those are my "nice" non-in-ear headphones -- they get great reviews so whatevs)
sound was a lot better, was able to turn the volume up. could get to about 12 o'clock and was comfortable with the clean sound. again, the clean sounds pretty nice. but ended up down around 11 o'clock for gain pedal reasons. got the elements sounding better. will need to dial out some treble i suspect but it's sounding decent.
one thing i've noticed is that pedals that don't have a good way to control unity volume are somewhat fucky. my dispatch master was also doubling as a clean boost regardless of where the mix was. on top of that the noise floor is more noticeable when there's no room ambiance and you're only hearing what's coming through your headphones. tonight switching on my EQD afterneath would result in a bit more "noise" than what I'm generally hearing while at practice but that's practice/stage volume with a dual rectifier so i'm used to some noise.
anyway. great little product for a hamilton. again, the coffee & riffs crowd will probably eat this up. i don't blame them. it's cool. i'm gonna love being able to dick around with it.

I accidentally a Volca FM this afternoon. Japanese Amazon prime means that it'll be delivered tomorrow morning between 8 and 12. Damn you, consumerism.
I plan to use it when I need to be in the next room to hear if my son is crying or anything like that, with headphones on one ear only. Pretty sure I can do glitchy minimal Raster Noton-style stuff with this one.

My Black Friday stuff arrived recently. I adore the Doom Bloom. Getting along with it much more than I did with the Algal Bloom. Really dig the thicker/fuller voicing. Although, it can go to the opposite spectrum quite easily with the controls. Deceptively versatile pedal. Stacks nicely too. And I have to keep repeating the obvious, but Tom make THE best looking pedals.
The MASF Possessed is rad as hell and way easier to understand/control than I had expected. Before it arrived, I had a slight dread that it would be too random to use beyond noise making applications, but that hasn't been the case thus far. Very pleased I finally got one. Sadly, it has been a hectic week and I haven't had time to try out or even unbox the Raptio.
Soon, though.

Gah...jelly of the Possessed. Love playing with Eivind's. I have no idea why I haven't gotten one yet.
