that headphone amp is so cool, I didn't know it existed until just now,

Can it be used as a DI as well?

Can't wait for a review.

Don't see how it'd be inappropriate to use as a DIY as long as pedals plus headphone amp provide the signal you want.

Kinda gassing for this but I don't know if I can swing more dirt when I only use an HM-2 clone for pretty much everything.

Yeah I was kinda bummed when I saw he's retired the Green Russian variant, but it's probably still worth a look in.
I'm sure you'd have no trouble flipping it.
I like the Dunn stuff. It's pretty fucking good.
Although I only own the 5150 pre so, you know....

Well I have never been a very discerning person when it comes to muff variants although I have only tried an NYC and a couple other clones that were supposed to be a rams head and a russian. Still couldn't tell much of a difference, I liked the Musket quite a bit but I sold it long ago. I might just grab it next paycheck or something or ask someone for a nice crimbus present.

This may be too pretty for you, UG, but I trust you'd find a way to UG it up:

If you do, I'd be keen to hear your review.
Matt should get a shark tank round here, even though he's not a super active poster.
I'm sure the rest of us would keep it ticking over for him.

I need to test with some better headphones instead of what I'm using but so far so good. Dialing in dirt from drive pedals seems a bit challenging but the clean tone sounds quite nice.

There's a surprising amount of volume available. I didn't go past 9 o'clock. But I only had some crappy in ear headphones with an 1/8" to 1/4" adapter available. Need something a little better with a longer cable to be a bit more comfortable but that's an easy fix.
