Major good on you for trying to set things straight! Sounds like you got the real Black Friday savings.

I'm pretty disappointed in my inability to restrain myself but I have some major gear incoming: ARF, Twin stags, etched Spectre, Ayahuasca, Volca FM, and Keystep. Be on the lookout for a gear purge from me in the near future haha

solo tunes:
completed works || loosey goosey releases
associated acts:
Raab Zamboni (fake jazz/real noise//sax, modular synth, editing, misc) || Field Guide (my best friends//sax on 2 tracks)

I make t-shirts, patches, koozies, buttons, CDs, sometimes tapes, and eventually i'll start working on pedals again. DM me for pricing!

I wanted to go Twin Stags and Happiness and an OBNE Reflector but then I bought a PS4, - bunch of games, new neck pick up from blk/tri, new pots and switches for telecaster for said pickup and the other blk/tri I have, and the old blood noise headphone pedal thing, and some strings.

Priorities?

God help me but I just bought a Red Witch Fuzz God II. The 40% discount :wha?: was too juicy to resist, and the sputter switch was the big selling point. I'm at the point where I want more than just fuzz from a fuzz pedal.

I've started down the dark path of boo-teek gear.

Black Friday sales + cravings for old-school, synthy/broken guitar sounds =

I almost opted for a WMD Civilian Geiger Counter or Shoe Frog, but already have a decent bitcrusher and figured more octaves equal more fun. :idk:

EQD Dispatch Master
Fairfield Unpleasant Surprise - Big fan of their stuff. This has always been high on the list to check out.
Fuzzhugger Doom Bloom - It was between this and the BlackArts Toneworks Pharaoh. I don't even play doom. o_O This won out cuz of the artwork.
Keeley Gold Star - The washed out vibrato/"sun drenched" setting got my interest. Hoping for some 4AD love.
Keeley Psi Fuzz
MASF Raptio - Have wanted one ever since iRerror's demo. Slightly bummed that mine won't be blessed by Mr. Mifune and the blood of his victims.
MASF Possessed - Super excited! Hoping to cop some Sweet Trip-inspired fun with this. Also hoping mine doesn't burn out like all the horror stories I've read.

Purchased some others too, but they won't be shipping for a bit.

Snagged a Possessed and Context. Hyped like crazy, as I literally just want my guitar to sound like The Books and have been waiting *ages* for a sale at TF. Almost bought a Raptio, too, but already have a Superego and was/am holding out for a Mid-fi sale before blowing the rest of my wad.

Doom bloom and pharaoh aren't too much alike. BAT sounds and Tom sounds have different gravities.
Both heavy, but in different ways.

I miss the Doom Bloom I used to have actually.
Might have to make that a thing again.
I think I could use it with my BF to drone the fuck out.

Grats, mang. I just checked out The Books and really dig what I've heard. Spent way too much, but I'm still holding out for a Mid-Fi sale as well.
vidret wrote: !! I'm very interested in the doom bloom. Let us know let us know!

Also I don't think they're anything alike.
Will do! I should have it in just over a week.

 Yeah I should have clarified. I've way too many muffs variants laying around at the moment (binders full of muffs /Romney :excellent: ), so the Doom Bloom was the more exciting choice of the two. Still want to try the Pharaoh, but not until I purge most of my muff collection next year.
