i like the effects a lot and it looks neat as butts. kinda disappointing that there's no MIDI or psu. batteries are just.... i mean. NOT using regular ones. too wasteful.

but even rechargeables are kinda a bitch.

also, anybody that has a Volca Sample or FM and wants more functionality over MIDI, like VELOCITY OVER KEY HITS, there's the Retrokits smart cable that lets you set it so the Volcas see stuff they normally don't.

holy butts GC is bad at math. when i got the late discount on a mixer the other day and bought that meh Roland Vocoder they gave me like $20 or $30 back extra, then i just returned the Vocoder and they gave me $60 more in credit than i spent. i tried ro explain three times to the sales guy and the manager that they were giving me way too much back, they showed me how the COMPUTER NEVER LIES.

i tried. but. i came up on about $100 more then i ever spent? sooooo....

the Volca FM had to be ordered, should be here Wednesday, but went home with that purchased, a Pocekt Operator Robot, Rhythm and Arcade, mono 1/8 to 1/4 cables for each, and a pair of AKG headphones.

.....and i have $22 left on a gift card.

lol. i am NOT complaining. i got 2 of the PO's i was interested in but wouldna have and some decent, comfy, WAY BETTER THAN WHAT I WAS USING headphones for.... basically free. and that is AWESOME. SO HAPPY.
