Idk if you know Cliff Stapleton but he just released a cd of songs he's been featured on with the Hurdy Gurdy over the last three decades. Some really nice cuts in there that show off what it can do:

If I were to have two Mandelas (which i assume these are), I'd like them apart so I could have one at the start and one at the end of the chain. :idk:

Guess it's neat to have two different sample times so close to each other though. :thumb:
I wanted them in a TS-1S enclosure like his Shooting the Moon/Fuzilla pedals but the board is too long and he wouldn't have been able to do top jacks. I'm pretty sure it's the same height as my Dimehead PLL.

As for having it in different spots in the chain, I have a lot of stutter-type pedals scattered through my signal, so not an issue for me. ;)

I'm determined to scoop up that Erica Synths Pico Drums during a Black Friday sale. Saw a picture that they're shipping out a ton more so I'm not worried about availability of the damn thing for once.

Dude, hurdy gurdys are the shit. One of my teacher's was like one of three people that make hurdy gurdy strings in the US. Used to bring it in to class all the time. That one looks great.

I played one once. It's really fucking cool to feel the drone vibrating in your chest while you play it -- similar to the vibes you get from a proper heavy bass array.

Some of the Picos are on sale at perfect circuit right now, some great deals. The whole system is just packed with value, and I'm sure I'll be getting a few more along the way (scale, vcf1, cvmix, dsp, etc).

Is the DSP officially out yet? I've seen DivKid's video of it but I haven't seen it up yet.

The whole Pico line does have me hot and bothered. Definitely want both filters as well because size/performance measurements are off the charts. (Still can't beat the Disting though, what a module)
