yeah you got it. you make your own waveform, or gesture, by "playing" the top plate, and you can record and then slew it. Then depending on the mode its in, you either need to trigger it like an envelope, or its cycling like an lfo. just like the ciat-lonbarde barres there is a piezo attached to the bottom of the top plate, you tap or rub with varying degrees of pressure to make your gesture and that's output as a control voltage. You can just use the Hand like this to send your gestures out in real time. You have to hold down the record button when you want it to record your gesture, and its recording as long as the button is depressed up to...2.2 seconds maybe. Then depending on the mode it starts cycling or needs to be triggered. If you play a new gesture it temporarily overrides what's recorded, but it won't record a new gesture unless you're holding down the record button. It keeps on keeping on with what's recorded unless you hold down the record button for like four seconds or so and that clears the memory and changes the mode too.

Its a one hand kinda operation, use your index finger to hold down the record button and your middle finger to make your gesture for instance. i have best results tapping in a rhythmic type gesture and then using the slew to smooth it out. there is a RST trigger in, CV out, and EOL trigger out. i guess EOL stands for End Of Loop. there is some good info on the ciat-lonbarde site about the signal created with a piezo/barre and how to diy your own.
Ok that definitely sounds like something up my alley. Might have to DIY one along with the Karps and DU-KRPLS.

Ok… so… it feels really odd now but I'm kind'a going backwards I guess… and I'm changing up my amp thing… I have a old Demeter pre-amp coming and a Crown XLI Series 750W Power Amp… why? well.. My mesa took a dump last gig [could be nothing, but I'm not touching until my repair guy looks it over, I know I don't know enough to mess with it] on the 3rd song and thankfully the guy from Downglow let me use his Carvin for the rest of our set :grumpy: :grumpy: :grumpy: :grumpy: :grumpy: :grumpy: :grumpy: :grumpy: :grumpy: :grumpy: :grumpy: :grumpy: My other mesa is set up too dirty to be usable for what I need but depending if my stuff gets here before this saturday I'm just deal with having a overly [for me] gritty sound… so… once this setup is here and squared I'm going to sell off my Mesa 400 and my Sunn 200s… they are just feeling like dead weight ATM.. cools amps are cool but… As for my 400+ I'm going to get t checked out and keep it for recording and for gigs where we'll be playing the whole night vs one set.. :idk:

Woo!! Microbrute out, microkorg in.

Much as I love the brute I wanted something polyphonic.
I've thought about the korg for a while and One More Time With Feeling hardly helped. Add wine and eBay and it's the perfect storm and I have a microkorg coming.

Sorry if this has already been posted, but it's worthy of a repeat anyway:

Does anyone have an email address for OnePot?
