Trading an Eau Claire Thunder & a Bitmap + $100 for my first new amp in ~5 years. Not much of an amp connisuer (all I know's my late 70's Twin Reverb sounds hella good), but here's what I know about this pupper: It's a 15 watt tube head, based on a Fender 5e3 circuit, housed in custom-stained wood (w matching 2x12 cab loaded with Fender Oxfords). Tube rectifier, 3-way EQ toggle (low-cut circuit - my roommate suggested maybe turning it into a pot instead), and handwired with vintage components where available.
I've been GASing for a 5 watt tube amp for some time just to have something that sounds warm & crisp at a slightly lower volume than my Twin, which can kind of be hard on my ears sometimes. This came along and it seems like an even better setup, so I think I'm ready to take the dive. Here's the only picture I have (excuse the filter, I did not take this). We're meeting this weekend :yay:

Needed something to put my guitar pedals on, and ognoy uses this one, which means it should be okay. Seems pretty sweet for the price. :idk:

Sweet! That is the PT jr-sized one?
I'll probably pick up one of those myself. Will be used when I have to fly and don't need the full board.

Incoming: the new EHX Deluxe Big Muff Pi. The expressionable mid frequency fucking sold me on it.

The knobs are cool IMO. But the graphic sucks like a black hole.

The knobs are too slippery. I think they look a little juvenile, but ultimately it's about performance, and they suck.

The deluxe Bass muff Pi is even oooglier. Yeah the knobs on this size range of EHX pedals are kind of butt. If I keep this pedal long term, I'm sending it to dminner for a facelift.
