It's a lot of fun once you wrap your head around the Warp mode... if I hadn't fallen (back) down the Space Echo hole, I would've kept mine...

Thanks, those DeArmond enclosures are my favorite. You can get one. Joe said he's gonna be building more.

^ I got an old DeArmond 1800 on Chank's recommendation a few years back and agree it's an awesome enclosure. Huge sweep, super comfy. The only issues with the 1800 (which is essentially a Boomerang anyway) are (a) that it's a volume/wah pedal, so there's tone suck in volume mode, and (b) someone not-so-cleverly designed the circuit so that it continues to draw power even when a lead isn't plugged in, so unless you disconnect the battery, it'll drain before you can say "Chucka-chucka-wark-wark-wark". So putting Joe's Faux Boomer circuit in that enclosure is GENIUS, GENIUS, GENIUS! Just too cool.

Hoping, based on the specs, this will be the muff I've been seeking for many months. :animal:

Looks like a brilliant cut of the old project boxes that electro Faustus (and countless others) started with. I love stuff like that, haha. Nice find.
Thanks. I wish more builders would kick it old school with their enclosures, especially with sub $100 fuzzes.

Will do, though it will be a minute because it was sent first class with tracking. :grumpy:

Indeed ... it was the first thing to catch my eye before impulsively committing to this purchase the following day.

New tele neck for my shitty tele that's slowly becoming fucking awesome!! MIM, vintage frets, U shape thick neck. Basically brand new.

AAAAAAND

1976 beat to hell MIA Gibson SG. Used to be cherry red, now it's a faded reddish hued wood. The guy selling it was a luthier who just felt bad having it sit around, so it was a steal. He personally repaired the neck joint before selling it. Neck is straight as can be and the truss rod is fully functional. Mostly original hardware included, including OG working pickups, pots, and all the wiring. He then threw in a bunch of spare vintage electric hardware he had lying around because he works exclusively on classical guitars now. I plan to keep it beat up looking, and just fix up the bits that need fixin'.

Damn that's a fucking score. My Dad has a 70s SG and I love that guitar to death. Might be my favorite guitar of his. The neck is thin but soooooo smooth.

OLED Screen arrived from China (in less than a week, god damn post around the world is NOT fucking around). Ornament_Crime is successfully built.

Awesome!

Yeah I haven't played it loaded up, but it's super light and it feels great.

... with dual mids controls as well. If the innards are high quality, that will be an amazing muff.
I like it, but... the sound is not what I expected. The only muff I've used before is the ehx nyc reissue, and it's pretty different. The ehx has way more gain and fuzzy sound. It sounds like the guitar on Dinosaur Jr's Bug and You are living all over me, which I is a good thing, of course... but it's not for stoner/doom stuff, nop... whatever :idk:
