You should coax some liller sounds out of that!
Dude from Fight Amp runs a Rat into a Peavey Classic 100 and an Acoustic 450. Pretty sure I remember seing those during a recent Gear Gods interview. Always been a fan of their tonez.

It upsets me that I can't make a Rat sound like anything other than hot garbage.

I don't even own a rat.

I liked the Rat I used the best when it was set to no clipping diodes. And it was still pretty fuzzy.

Rat into Pharaoh was the bees knees when I first joined ILF. I could never get it to work for me.

The Rat is one of those things that sounds fine on records but doesn't "feel" right when I'm actually using it. Response is a bit "squishy"..? Even with the gain down and the volume high certain palm mutes didn't feel right.

Thanks
not sure what bands have used the windsor. Hovercraft used to sell the Windsors as "Hovercraft Baltar". so any bands using that.....
the Cab on the windsors is huge. future i'm hoping to upgrade my woodshop and be able to do cabinets.
also been looking at Laser Engravers. i have powdercoating setup in my garage already. that would let me etch Front and Rear panels after powder coating them with my own images/text. instead of just putting "stickers" on them like hovercraft.
forgot to record at our last jam. hope to get Windsor EL34 and 6l6 recordings soon.
Funny, I like my Pharaoh Supreme through most amps. But the windsor, my Swollen Pickle sounds better to me.

Here you go! It's a stock windsor. leads were done by my friend at his house with his shitty combo.

I used to hate Rats, but I found they work/sound best into an amp that's already almost overdriving

I'm expressing my endorsement of Maggot Crown at this point.

awesome!! I'll have to write some more after I knock out these couple of vomitwolves splits that are on the books to be done.
The ep is all similar to that song for MC. just utterly disgusting.

Made some gear moves. Still running the Fender Deville with the Music man 2x12 extension cab, but on the other side I'm running a Blackstar HT Stage 60 for the mids and an Ampeg SVT 3 Pro through a 400 watt Orange 4x12 to cover the lows.
