Today I paid for a new pickup(HB-sized SC) for my EGC and I picked up a Visual Sound Jekyll&Hyde V2 for cheap. It's ugly, but sounds all right. Specially into my ZVex Distortron.

Pure sex.
I really wish I'd had the money to buy one.
Here's hoping a flip eventually comes my way...

I am very happy I went balls deep into debt for both of those pedals.

I finally decided to pull the trigger on a big box DMM. I should honestly have stopped fucking around with cheapo analog emulators a while ago...

How long do I have to wait after paying to get antsy about shipping though? Apparently the lable has been created but that was a week ago

What's the 1984?
Dunn Effects' 5150 preamp in a pedal.
Soon to be replaced by the Redeemer, but I'm shit at waiting for preorders and bronzetalon put it up at a VERY reasonable price in BST.
I bought it for Devy tones but I'm thinking it'll get used for all sorts of metal chuggery.
Who knows, I might actually try and go back to playing fast shit and actually practicing.
Weird.

Sounds sick on all counts man! Devy tones are the best tones.

Well Laurentide Synthworks is closing so I guess I'm finally starting my biggest DIY project yet. Which means inc:

Ambika synth main board and 4 SMR filter boards.

To the Filter: vids and I were talking about this earlier -- from that demo, does there seem to be any reason why you wouldn't be able to run the LFO into the parameters at the top (and potentially, split it to cover, say, rate and cutoff)? If that's the case I'm going to have a hard time avoiding one, even if it isn't modular.

You could surely get it built into a module? :poke:

Oh yeah, but to crib from Chris Carter in I Dream of Wires -- everything is a module, whether or not it's modular. I like to blend tabletop/modular/field recordings/and "real" pedals with impunity. Plus it keeps things difficult, which is always fun.
