I've got loopers, a drum machine, a synth, and effects that I'd like to control from one interface, and the ipad feels like it really has a lot of potential for powerful and easy-to-manage control.
Modstep is incredibly powerful for this. But you still need hardware, obviously.

I'm sorry for being a pleb, but what's up with the wood? Is it a temporary thing before you insert it into the rack?

yeah, its for safe transport/storage i guess. the vu meter's "arm" strikes a spring that's attached to a piezo mic which is suspended by a thingy...wouldn't wanna set the module down on the thingy and maybe bend it.

Hnuhhh, went ahead and bought the crazytubecircuits time delay I've been looking for (in gold) that just listed on rvrb. It's the only non-mini delay that will fit comfortably on my board at this moment.

I think I saw that on Reverb the other day.

Noticed the purple plexiglass. :D Nice score! Hope it sounds as good as it looks.

That was the 2150 model (mono). There's been a 2250 wood model but I wanted the black and was waiting for one in this condition.

I'm really excited about the "mirage" feature which is basically ping pong delay but actual tape delay! And also the "reverse echo" feature which sends the delayed signal to the opposite channel. You can do a lot of routing variations too like sending a stereo signal in with Mirage on and different head selections for each channel. You can take a mono signal and by using Reverse Echo and Mirage get a stereo signal output. Supposedly it has a much more hi-fi sound than my RE-201

Just got my WMD Protostar and holy shit, this is a beautiful sounding pedal. Kind of overwhelming with the options too!
