Gravitas just showed up. It's so great! Haven't even touched the ramping functions and I'm loving it!

You're obviously going to buy tons of modules now, you should probably have gotten a proper/bigger case...
Also, if you plan on doing some proper patching, you should try not to forget "utilities" modules : mixers. VCAs, etc. These things make like much, much easier. There are some modules like the WMD/SSF Toolbox or the Mutable Instruments Kinks that give you a lot of small but useful patch bits, too.

I finally bought a Minilogue last week from Sweetwater. Called them back today to see if they had an updated shipping time, and they told me mid-June....

Thanks for the suggestions too, i've been researching utility modules..i've been stacking tip top stackcables like a mad man, so i ordered a multiple. I imagine i'll come on these sort of "hey, wouldn't it be nice if"...and i'll look it up on modular grid and go from there. But yeah, there's lots of stuff i just have no clue about their existence or use

well i spent some time trying to track down the cause of the noise/bleed and found it

well i spent some time trying to track down the cause of the noise/bleed and found itI've kept six ribbon cables hooked up the bus board...which is the total number of spots available...and have just been swapping modules in and out as I experiment...if there are ribbon cables with no modules hooked up to them there is noise. I've seen pics where heads have unconnected ribbon cables sticking out between modules and guess I assumed there would be no problem. so...the pittsburgh patch box isn't inherently noisy, if used properly haha. lesson learned
If you have issues like this, consider getting a case with better power supply.
I just got one of the new Intellijel 7U performance cases and their supplies are apparently excellent for this kind of issues (star grounding, etc.). They use the same ones in their 4U cases, too. Only caveat with the 7U cases : there are only 20 power connectors. I added a 4ms Bus Stick on mine to get 13 more connectors, though these are all connected to one spot on the main distro board so they don't benefit from the star grounding. Still, works fine for me, and potentially problematic modules are on their own spot anyway...

it's weird, some combos of modules and its dead silent, other combos and oscillation still bleeds through at a very minimal level...its pretty low level and probably gonna be below the noisefloor so not a problem for performance which is what I got it for, but it's not usable for recording when it's being noisy, IMO. I'm guessing that is what people complain about with switching power supplies, kinda why I leaning towards a linear supply for the rack I'm building. I'll know more tomorrow when the make noise skiff shows up and I can see how it's power supply performs with the same modules...for all I know it could be the modules are the problem?
I'll check out the intellijel cases and see what manufacturer they are using for power

You don't really need a linear supply if you use a switching one that's well designed.
Intellijel makes their own and from everything I've read so far they're one of the best available. It can be bought separately from the cases, too.

And yeah, getting noise issues or not depends on the combination of case, power supply and modules. And maybe even your electric installation.

I don't get prefuzz glitch... Isn't the whole purpose of glitch to make it sound glitchy/stop sound abruptly? Fuzzes adds tail to notes, unless it's gated. Glitches don't have tails, dammit. I will have to sit down soon and check it out.
But, yeah. I want to try that baby. Maybe borrow for a demo once you've done yours?
