I just pulled the little dc motor out of an old vcr/dvd player, gonna try and get that working with the gieskes 317 tonight

Those modules are super interesting. So you could theoretically have stuff drumming stuff live that would be impossible for a human to play yea? Thats really exciting!

Are you talking about the Doepfer Trautonium ribbon controller? Detroit Modular has them. I've been thinking about velcroing one across the bottom rim of the jamstand...
