SO the official word is both of these pedals are fucking amazing!

I want an LED and 9v adapter on that Pig Eater, other than that, it's killer!!! The Dream Sequencer is nuts! Just nuts! It's so vast! I don't even know what I'm doing, but I likely. LOL

As seen on Knobs, the Crash fuzz from Blue FX has found a home with me. Damn, this thing can do a lot.. sub-oscillation, lo-fi radio zounds, doomy wall of doom, it's all there. Definitely a keeper.

I know I have probably asked this somewhere else, but can you tell me how it is different than a slicer?

I will say it really does share qualities with the slicer. The biggest draw for the Dream Sequence is programmable patterns, better midi control (not just tempo), freeze instead of a limited looper, and standard octaves if needed. Are these qualities worth the extra ~$300 is the question. Also the slicer is much easier to dig into rather than the Dream Sequence.

thanks for the quick review,
Pitch Factor into Slicer is one of the greatest pedal combinations ever invented.

Ive owned the slicer twice and was never able to gel with the wave shape. It was either to sharp and clicky in a bad way, or really soft on the attack which I like, but not being able to dial in a good middle ground always annoyed me. I didnt really dig the harmony sequences on it either, seemed to "electro" or something... but the stereo options are super sweet.

Never tried a slicer, but I can tell you this thing is amazing and can do a lot. Is the slicer expression controlled like this guy? I may buy a slicer and see the difference as I have an H9 already.

have never used my slicer with an expression pedal, now I must!!!!!!

Will the dream sequence do traditional trem sounds as well?
Slicer trem beat out my empress long term.

It can do vibrato, so that's pretty close to trem. :)

I'll have to experiment more. I wish they had included sample settings in the manual.
