Agreed but some stuff I use just doesn't come in a good version that is compact and has back jacks. I actually had to build a new channel mute box because I the first one I built a couple years ago had the loop routing jacks on the right side. When I got this new board I needed that dumb half inch to make things fit so I had to get a new enclosure and rebuild the switcher.

How are those pedals attached to the board? Loving the selection
Dual lock. Holds insanely tight, doesn't lose adhesion if it spends a day in a hot trailer, and there's no fuzz to pick up grime from the floor in venues.
D.o.S. wrote:No way man, side jacks are love. Also that board is fucking awesome. Would like to hear more about the dual 720s.
One 720 is on the bass channel and is last in the chain before my bass amp. I use it to loop bass parts in a couple songs. The other 720 is in the guitar chain and I use it to build loops that go in our tuning breaks so there is never silence in the set.

I like what I like. Plus if it sounds good, I'd be dumb to get rid of it. A lot of what you see there are key to my sound. Plus the dirge is personal.

I also don't mind sidejacks. I can fit more than most on a board and have never understood the hate for them. Your pedals shouldn't touch anyway bros! It can create a grounding issue if you have on that isn't properly grounded (IE any Devi Ever pedal, well really there's a ton that I've owned from all kinds of folks).
Needs EBS flats though! That would look sexy as fuck!

If there are grounding issues, that'll translate through the jacks, though, right?

Plus a lot of pedals are coated with either spray paint or enamel, so they wouldn't ground unless they were all bare enclosures.

Totally depends on where the builder put their grounds! Devi has been known to ground pedals on pots, so I've had them act up in various fashions if they are even touching other boxes. It's basically a bad ground, so like an open current is still going through the pedal slightly. Again, she is not the only one I've seen have this issue in the past, I can't say she still has it because I don't know. It can also occur in the jacks or hell even the sides of the enclosures. I've seen some weird ass grounding spots. LOL. That's one thing that's been interesting about rehousing as many pedals as I have. I get to see the good and bad.

I think those little moogs look really sharp. If I had a reason to get one I'd be all over them.

Here is my kid's board (he's going to be 5 soon)
It's the second iteration, he just swapped a wah and an A/DA flanger for an arion flanger and a noise gate.
His insistence on having the noise gate quite surprised me :-)
His fave is the arcadiator though
Oh, and here is his wee axe:
