I really want to add a super simple reverb. I really just want something that does like mild fendery spring sound...I am thinking about a malekko spring chicken.
That's a sick board for sure. I also have the Limbo II and the Variable State Tremolo, both killer pedals. I love the random knob on the tremolo. Shit gets whacky. I kinda hope 80tape comes out with a reverb or a ring mod next. Be interesting to see what twists he puts on it. I have also built an Interstellar Overdriver clone
In terms of reverb, Red Panda Context is my favourite, but it doesn't have a spring mode. I would actually recommend a 1776 Rub A Dub Deluxe for what you want (
http://1776effects.com/product/rub-a-dub-deluxe/ ). I built one up a while back and I use it all the time at home. Its a Belton based verb, but its is the newer brick with adjustable decay. The tone knob will allow you to go from a very soft reverb sound to a very springy sound when maxed out. A good amount of depth and decay available. It doesn't seem to colour your clean tone a great deal either. I would however recommend building it with the level trimpot as an external knob just to make overall volume adjustment easier.

The TU-3 is fine though. Double the price for shitty true bypass and a different paint job

Forgive me fuzzers, for I have sinned.
Bows-Gray Channel gets in that territory pretty quickly though tbh. Had to be pretty picky about dirt recently, cos my amp (OR50) is picky about dirt

Does the random on the 80tape Tremolo do the same as the random across the knobs on the goatkeeper? As in set a random tremolo speed per step?
