This is it. Heaven on Earth... well, the digital Earth, anyway.
I've been wandering lost and alone, searching for my people everywhere but finding no one that could understand my language.
Finally, I've found an oasis... crystal clear water, ripe dates, palm trees and FUZZ BOXES!!!!!

thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou.

I Love Fuzz, well I Love YOU.

I'm currently in a band called HP Witchcraft and we are going into the studio this weekend to record our first 7''

This place seems cool. Less uppity than some other places.

Hello forum,

My name is Christian, although I'm not at all christian. I live in Sweden and work at a brewery (from where I'm currently idling around these boards). Sadly, I'm not much of a poster - but don't you guys feel safe, i read a lot so I still know whats up.

Im 23, been playing the guitar for about six of them now. Up until a like two years ago I just sat in front of ultimateguitar.com, practising hard rock/metal riffs with my shitty guitar direcly plugged into my shitty amp. Now, when i know better, I spend those hours with my now a little less shitty guitar and a not yet presentable amount of fx jumping around my house (yes i own my own house, it's located in the deep forests) just making noises that takes my anxeity away.

I stumbled upon this place while researching for my new hobby, building these glorious boxes of pure happyness, and I simply fell in love with the topics, attitude and the spirit of togetherness that seem to overflow on these boards.

So yeah, forgive my flaws in the english language and accept me as one of your own goddamnit!

peace.

Hey folks,
I've been hanging out here a bit, so I figured I'd say howdy.
I'm David. I live in Northampton, MA.
My main instrument is a Jaguar, but I also have a Daisy Rock Stardust Retro-H that I love dearly.
I was in an Irish punk rock band for a while, but now I'm interested in making weirder noise.
I just ordered a Devi Ever custom dual pedal, so I guess I can say I'm in the club now.

Seems like everybody has some Northampton connection.
The band was called the Butcher Boys. We only ever played out a few times.

I'm not sure... I left the area in '97, and have only been back a couple of times (though it seems every year I make plans to go and they get scuttled somehow). Every now and then I'll ramble on about Cordelia's Dad on one of the music threads here. They were one of my favorites when I was living there. I was pretty friendly with Tizzy and The Mitchells as well, and New Radiant Storm King was my first "real" indie rock show ever. I've got pretty fond memories of music back in Western MA... >sigh<

Hello and THANK YOU!!!

Finally a forum where I can confess my endless addiction to anything music, whether it be listening, playing, or gear!

Been a music junkie since the age of 2. My uncle said I was the easiest kid to babysit, Just play a James Brown record, and I would chew the side of the turntable cabinet watching the record spin. Forty years since, here I am, taking approximately two hours to compose something that will be read in about two minutes. But I'm rambling now..

Been playing music for about 15 years now (gear I used to have : Multimoog, Roland 301 Chorus Echo, Maestro Ring Modulator, Tascam 8 Track Reel-to-Reel, Lexicon Vortex, Zoom 505, HR-16, Moog Theremin, Roland R-8, and other stuff I have since forgotten about). Started playing the musical saw about 13 years ago, and now that has evolved into four musical saws, ranging from 26' to 36' (shrieking highs to humpback whale lows). Each one has a pickup attached to it.

Electric saws. My main instruments of musical mayhem. Run through pedals. LOTS OF PEDALS. Which brought me here.

ILF gear I own now: Eye of God, OK, LP, Mangler, A/B Synth (#030), Utter Stutter, Reverberator, Antenna.

Other gear of interest: Grendel Drone Commander, Ekdahl Moisturizer, KCP Glamour Box & Sleepdrone5, Echo Ohce, Prometheus, Little Dipper, SuperDelay, Digilog, Shape EQ, Goatkeeper, Grand Orbiter,Pitchfactor, Robot, Fix'd Fuzz, Little Boy Blue, Chimera bc-8, Mushroom Echo, Lunchbox Amp, Roland Cube 20 (original orange), Crate CR-160 (retired), VP Jr, Zoom H4 & H2.

Oh, name is James, by the way.

When I eventually figure out how to navigate my way around here, I'll have pics & music to post. Might need some help in that department, though.

I'll be back soon!
