Being Called DIST01 and having a gain knob I presume it's not a Midi Interface.

Was thinking about having my PS-2 rehoused. Tried it out on my main board, and I think it will stay there, but having it in a more standard enclosure would make it fit more neatly, hopefully take less space, and fit in lookswise. Then I came upon a thread on TGP were people were discussing rehousing Boss pedals so they'd look "more boutique"... Now I kinda want to leave it the way it is.

I like the look of Boss pedals personally

, especially their foot stomp switches. I'm getting a PS-2 soon so I'm gonna have tons of fun with it.

I wish everything was in a Boss enclosure

I have had so many goddamn 3pdt stomps and protruding knobs get fucked up on boutique pedals and never had any problems with Boss stuff.
i'm curious whether the MASF module is based on one of their pedals.. i would buy the shit out of a MASF distortion/feedbacker but i don't really wanna dive into modular just for that.

Oh, I like the look myself. I'm just vain and want a monochrome, uniform board. Also, I could do without the buffer. But yeah, Boss does make good looking pedlols.

I am kinda the same way. I like the boss pedal look but want the whole board to be boss. LAL is the same way, I want the whole board to be LAL. I'm going with moog and matching now. I wouldn't go as far to rehouse something though...it just goes to something else. I'm also weird that I can't stand to have rows of pedals. I'd rather have a 5' long board than a 2.5', board with two rows. (I rarely use over 4 pedals at a time though).
The boss buffer does mess with some of my fuzzes which is why they always get passed over when I start making noise.

Is the DD-20 the cheapest option for sound on sound looping? I thought the Headrush might do it but it doesn't. I really want loops that evolve with my playing.

thanks for noting this, because I was thinking about buying one just for that.

It could be user error, like I can get something kinda similar with a really long delay on it? But it's not actual "looping" per se

On of the best guitar players I have ever known did that with an oldish digitech multi effects (I remember his little LED display would say 500ms or 800ms). Layered a few guitar parts over each other. Played one riff, then the next, then the first, then the second, then the third, then the second, third, forth, etc. Sounded really badass and made changes so seamless. It was like this weird changing fugue of melodies that took you on a journey. Too bad the only recordings of his band were fucked up by a really really bad recording studio (took all the life out of it).

Dang that sounds like a really good way to make loops decay and change, i kinda do it that was occasionally without thinking about it.. i think!
but man that gives me some good ideas thanks for the inspiring post.

Fixed my big muff (that I originally screwed up trying to fix forever ago) and put in a pink LED and a regular 9v DC jack. I just wired the foot switch wrong last time. Lol.

So I have been digging through my boxes in the garage that I packed up while I moved and I found a Maestro FZ-1a that I forgot I got at some point (not the cool part) and a crazy russian 220v flanger(the cool part). It doesn't have the fuze and the power cord is really messed up (came like that, both). If I take a picture of the fuse cover, pedal, and plug for the cord, does anyone think they could point me to the right stuff? Thanks guys...
I think I got these in like 2000 in one of those depression buying sprees. I was trying to get a Polivoks and settled on the flanger? haha.
