i finally tried the moog ep-2 and it works great, so i'm guessing 100k ohm pedals work fine. expression control really opens the pedal up.

Received mine today and love every bit of it.
Am I clear in thinking that connecting it to CV from my Eurorack is not recommended?

The input should "tolerate" up to about 5-5.5 volts but i don;t recoment it. If you go over you could damage the main cpu, and that will be quite a pain in the ass/brick your pedal. There is some protection added so it isn't likely to blowup the first instant it hits 5.1v, but it is not designed to work with eurorack CV per se. Also if you plug a mono 1/4" into the expression jack it will cause excessive current flow from your supply on account of it shorting the ring of the TRS its expecting to the sleeve.
One way to do it would be to have a CV from your synth going to a TRS cable, with the voltage on the Tip and the Ground on the Sleeve. Leave the ring disconnected. This *should* work ok as long as the input is 0-5V BUT the pedal will only respond to 0-3V, and at 3V it will just stay at "max" even if the CV passes this voltage.
SO the absolute best way to do it, and definitely waht i would recomend, would be to get 2 resistors wit ha 2:3 ratio, like 220k and 330k say (very common values) and use it as a voltage divider from your 0-5V out to scale it to 0-3, then plug that into the TRS as described in the previous paragraph and everything should be good, and it will respond to the full 0-5v scale, because you actually just shrank it to 0-3V. You could probably cram the 2 resistors into the shell of the TRS and just have one slick magic cable

If you need a drawing let me know

Probably though i am going to add major and minor seventh quantizations as well, so since that is a lot of guess work the way in which quantizations are set will likely change slightly.
Will the update include plain vanilla good ole' fashioned dominant seventh quantizations as well? I'm picturing something diabolical for my countrycore rig

Will the Led change color as you cycle through quantization options?

Ummm, I just want to ask if anyone knows if the CT5 and GB24 can work with Keyboard or other line level signals? Thank you.

I haven't had problems running line level signal into mine.

in the end i found this strategy doesn't sound that great. there will be some new q modes though....

maybe.

it should work fine, a lot of people asked about this this week so i will do a demo with line outs from a tape deck and an m audio interface to show. the pedal is only mono though and there is not currently an option for stereo.

dude. ive had this pedal over a month and im still learning how to use it to its potential. this thing is a beast. im floored by the versatility of it, and that your adding more with updates is just amazing. im still going to be finding new sounds and uses for this thing when the update releases. bravo sir, hands down the most fun ive ever had learning/experimenting with a pedal. i think i might have to buy a 2nd soon.

ya eventually i would like to have something more advanced out, but not sure what you consider "soon". maybe before the end of 2015.

just to update, i have stopped taking orders for this until the spring, mainly because the wait time is getting a bit long. so at least now the firmware updates will probably actually get done

please sign up to the new news list via the link below to receive info on firmware updates and other releases.
http://eepurl.com/beoQ0rthanks to everyone involved, particularly those that made demos (:

On the news list and currently awaiting my ct5. I'm a little late to the party, but then again I'm the one who's going to draw penises on all of your faces.

Glad I ordered when I did! The pedal won't actually arrive until tomorrow, because grr stupid mail services, but I should have it in hand shortly, and maybe I'll even make a demo so that you can all laugh at my weak playing.
