In case you haven't had the pleasure of being devastated by it live, Parker's tone is fucking stellar. Both times we've played with Druden, I've found myself looking for JMPs on eBay/Reverb/Craigslist only to be reminded that teachers don't get paid enough to warrant spending that. Also my wife would probably not be stoked.

Here's some fun news. So I was wearing vans slipons with no socks and moving my ampeg v4, I was trying to put it on a shelf above my head and the strap broke and the full weight of the edge landed right on my foot.

Oooooh!
Shit dude, you break your foot?
I dropped a les Paul onto the dorsum of my foot once (with no shoes) and that was one of the most painful as fuck things ever. Went black as Al Cisneros' lungs for weeks.
I can only imagine how much that would have hurt.
Take it easy man.

Dag. Hope you recover OK. If not, you can always just pop a rollerskate where that foot was.

lol
Thanks guys.
Luckily there was an x-ray tech there telling me to move my car.
She said judging by the bruising and blood it probably isn't fractured, but I most likely chipped the bone.
She said to stay off it and get it checked out.
It didn't hurt until I noticed my shoe was getting wet.

Fucking NAD ended up being DOA. Took it to a tech, said it shouldn't be a hard fix. Just gotta wait a few days. Seriously though, who thinks it's ok to wrap an amp in 1 layer of bubble wrap, throw it in a cardboard box and ship it halfway across the world? I'm not sure how I should handle filing a dispute on reverb. Anyone have to do it before?

that sucks man.
especially an amp like that...you would think the previous owner would be extra careful to make sure the amp:
a) goes to a good home
b) arrives safely
c) shares in the joy of the new owner
was it a individual seller or a shop?

There are some class A asshats out there who don't give a fuck.
See if your tech can determine if shipping killed it or if it was fucked beforehand.
Then get your money back.

Saw Conk's post on Facebook about some shit with that amp. Sucks to see that it's a bit of a stinker right now.

Sorry man, that's ridiculous. Anything as heavy as an amp should be in a crate.

Part of the shipping cost should be insurance, unless the guy who sold it to you is mentally or morally defective. I've sold and shipped more than a few tube amps through Reverb and all were fully insured for the purchase price. It's been a while since I had to file a claim, but it's usually super simple and straight forward (for the seller) and no one loses any money. Then again, I also package up my amps like crazy, individually wrap the tubes and all of that. Hopefully it works out smoothly Conky, that looks like a sweet amp.

So it's possible that with the filter caps not grounding they've shorted out something else?
What would they take out before a fuse protected the rest of the circuit?
Hopefully this is a simple fix for you dude.

Can anybody recommend an aftermarket pickguard company? I need a SG standard full face for P90s. The one I got from WD Music has shit fitment and pickup routing.

Do the screwholes and everything line up? If so, just take a Dremel to it. Hoping that it's an easy fix, my dude.
