It's awesome! Seems like the Ibanez SB7 Synth Bass shares the same chip for waveshaping, but this one is completely different. The KORG unit has a great mid boost and the ability to select sawtooth or square and everything else between is cool. It sounds best with my KORG BX-3 organ with very simple drawbar settings (16' only for example). With guitar it's like a heavy fuzz and it really shines if you use a bass instead. The low frequencies just sound cooler. Polyphonic playing lets it break up in a totally wicked way. I won't give it away! Especially with the Dist Wah after it (it's a poor man's Mu-Tron III - really a fantastic effect!) I can get Moog-like solo lines with the organ. I really love it!

In: Zoom MS50G, Eventide Mixinglink

Out: Zvex Fat Fuzz Factory

I think I've grown out of oscillating fuzzes (not very ilfy, I know). Dr. Sci's Elements and a Super Duper are more than enough for me for what I want to do!

But a new search begins; I need to test some stompboxes in a vocal FX chain! I've heard good things about the Belle Epoch w/ vocals, and I can't wait to try it in conjunction with some spring reverb and a CT5. :yay:

In: Digitech Bass Synth Wah, gonna try it in the loop of the Superego.

Out: EHX Ring Thing. Super awesome, but also big and my board can only get so big. Would consider picking up again in the future (after a Particle).

Also just got in a Noise Ensemble that someone built for me in trade. Sounds appropriately terrible!
