Trogotronic changes their power supplies sometimes, and sometimes mislabel the actual unit (sometimes they are AC and not DC but labeled DC).

Though I would think the 666 should be pretty similar...mine is from the same era (meaning not euro, not metal box...same plastic box)

Why not get a patchulator and just patch whatever you want in cycle through the Superego?
