Ended up with Corey's Atlas 6x12. Made all my amps sound really good. Loving this thing.

So, I'm REALLY starting to dig WGS speakers. This cab's loaded with et65's and et90's and they sound so clear and loud together. Plus the Reaper HP's I got for my 4x12 are also sounding killer and none of them are even broken in yet. I might be making the switch from Eminence due to that and how much cheaper WGS speakers are.

I'm drunk at the airport. If anyone lives in Boise or is going to the treefort festival, I'm now playing live guitar with wolvserpent and we're playing Thursday with Chelsea Wolfe. My first show with them. Come say hi. Just gotta get through the flight and three long days of band practice. Also, my first time flying with my own guitar and pedalboard and I'm nervous for my babies.

Sounds killer. Y'all playing the same day as Conan? If you run into 'em, tell John and Renata YO for me. Had a blast with them in TX.

havent been around these parts for a while...unlike the old days at least, i only had about 3 pages to catch up on.

so in no particular order...

Conky - that sucls man, I hope you get the computer issue sorted soon mate.

Chiller - :thumb: :thumb: first for the atlas cab, and second for conan...would have been a cool night!

Sumac does sound pretty good. I need to hear more before i commit to the whole album...the last one wasnt great for me, although The Deal was a great song.

Dr Nick...that Dunwich space unit looks great!

On my side, In one week (last week) It was my 40th birthday, I saw Sunn O))) for the first time...I picked up the Thunderverb 200 with some help from birthday money...and we did the final mix of our first album. I also went to a consultation session with a tattoo artist for my next tat...but the tat itself wont happen for another couple of weeks.

So it was a hell of a good week for me.

on the album side of things...we will look to get it mastered by someone for a reasonable price, then release it on Bandcamp and on CD...maybe do a limited run of vinyl or cassettes...not sure yet. I will post details once we get digital uploads ready on bandcamp.

I tend to agree with this on their first album. had a lot of bullshit that really wasn't enjoyable. I went through and did a new mix and chopped some bullshit off tracks and it was a much better EP.

Agreed.
A killer EP is always way better than an OK full length.

Zozobra's Savage Masters is a fucking prime example of how to get shit done in the "short album" format.
