I'm on the subway two hours a day. Noise cancellation > swagger.

Passive noise canceling/clammy ears? No thank you.

If you happen to try the Meet Maude with distortion/fuzz, I would love to hear your thoughts!

Sure thing. What are you interested in? Fuzz before Maude, behind Maude, in Maude's loop? All of that? Also the only fuzz pedals I have are the AstroTone which is barely a fuzz, and the four eyes I just got...so guessing the four eyes is most appropriate.

The Maude is truly outstanding by the way. So addictive to play because it is so touch sensitive and controllable and expressive. Wow they knocked it out of the park with this one. You can just ride that edge of self oscillation, and then set off a big swell of it with a hard stab of a chord...then back off and let the swell swirl back down around your playing again...just wow.

I would love to know how distortions or fuzz work in any of the three spots! i have heard mixed reviews, but the Maude is so enticing.

You got it. I missed the distortion part of your request. Yea the Astro Tone will actually be great because it's mostly distortion with just a sprinkle of smooth fuzz mixed in. Tomorrow when I break into the four eyes, I'll test botht the four eyes, and AstroTone, and may even try the king of tone in both overdrive and clean boost mode. I'm curious now as well about how it will take to break up. The delay signal itself is pretty dark with the compression on low, and the modulation turned off...with the compression on high and either low or high modulation, things are very blurry and muddy back there. Distortion could make things a chaotic mess...but if it's a clean enough and composed enough distortion or overdrive it might make a very sexy texture to play over. I do worry about what it will do to the controllability of the oscillation, but so far Maude sounds great when it runs away from you.

Coming in: DanDubbleEwe's JM Jazzmaster, which is now my JM Jazzmaster.

I'm going to put it in a death match vs my G&L ASAT Special Tribute, which might be on its way out.

Cool to hear. In the "eventually" market for a nicer analog delay. Like, if my life picks up and someone buys my HOG.

First things first, though, have to settle my insatiable desire for medical health and a Mother 32.
