If I was selling stuff I would probably stick to Reverb.
At least when you're a buyer on Craigslist and trying to give someone cash for their stuff it seems like a coin toss. They either flake out and disappear, or they turn out to be cool people.
My last few craigslist deals have been stellar.
Sold my old beatup VTM60 that had been modded by some shiester to all kinds of hell (and not back) with relative ease. Had some guy drive like 2 hours to pick it up the day after it was posted. Had multiple people e-mail me about it.
Bought my Mesa F-100 combo for $525 with relative ease outside of having to drive 30-minutes to meet up with the dude and it needing a tube change (which dude probably didn't realize because he probably never, ever played it in 100w mode).
Sadly I'm stilling sitting on my Telecaster Custom that I would love to sell locally on CL (because I don't need 3 guitars and want to buy a nicer SS bass head and an audio interface....).

I hit up Ben (Verellen) about dropping my Sound City amp off while we do a PNW tour soon and I know he's busy recording w/ Helms Alee but I keep refreshing my email like every hour hoping I hear back ><
Just figured I'd shoot y'all a complain post since I have nothing else to do at work.

Shout out to conk, who not only hooked me up with the Migration LP but also added in a whole bunch of swag, including the Deadhand split. Day made!

Glad it got to ya safely. I have been blasting Migration non stop since they came in. The vinyl sounds even better than the mp3s.
I'm down to one copy left if anyone else here wants to jump on it I'll throw in some extra stuff.

Took that Sunn apart to clean it and tightened up a few bolts on the chassis. Replaced one missing bolt on the power transformer and found out how they mount the reverb tank - with bailing wire.
I've cleaned the tolex on the headshell 3 times so far and it's still not clean. Making progress but that style of tolex really holds the dirt.

Welp, guitar center emailed me cancelling my order for that $150 baritone because it was a "pricing error" ...so lame. But on the plus side, Ben got back to me and he'll be fixing my Sound City when I head up north next week so I'm excited to start playing that again.

Pricing error?
Fuck that, don't they HAVE to sell it to you?
In Australia if a product is advertised for that price it HAS to be sold for the price listed until a retraction is published.
Too bad too sad for the retailer.
Conky, I want to order records from you, but I know have to rebuild my fucking PC.
It just shat the bed and I'm sick of dealing with it.
Grrr.
But, long time coming.

Pretty nice set there buddy.
New song sounds pretty bitchin', even on laptop speakers. Has a bit of a Fu Manchu vibe, and I mean that in a good way (not that anyone invokes the Fu in a negative light).
