I know :( .

And I can't say I was the biggest motorhead, I have a ton of their albums, but it's how he always presented himself as a person. How he never gave a flying fuck about what anyone thought of him. That I always respected.

Christmas was pretty low key this year, we pretty much just bought gifts for our toddler and asked family and friends not to get anything for us, because money is pretty tight. I did get a pre-seasoned cast iron skillet from my parents, which was pretty nice. Highlight of the season though was my birthday, which usually sucks because no ones cares since it's a few days after Christmas. My best friend came in from out of town to hang out and he gave me a Fender MIM Strat that I sold him cheap a few years ago. All freshly setup and even fixed up a bit from when I had it. I had been planning on making myself one to replace it, but that never happened and he just recently bought himself an 80's Gibson silverburst LP as a divorce present, so that's his ultimate unicorn and I guess he felt super generous in his GAS relieved giddiness. So that's cool, I really like having a strat again and it sounds killer with my heavier fuzzes through my current home rig.

Rough news to take about Lemmy, I can't feel sad though. He's one of the very few who can say they lived life all the way with no regrets.

These things make me happy-

Hey Christian,

What pickup do you have in your tele? I have a quarter pounder in my tele right now and it is nice but I was thinking of something a little different. Maybe pick up a tele custom body from warmoth and slowly put together one of those.

Got some speakers up for trade/sale in BST. If anyone has a pair of ET65s, Veteran 30s, or real deal v30s (8 ohm) that they're looking to move, get at me!

Also, y'all have a kickass NYE and be safe.

fuck yeah Ax...this is great.

the first song i listened to (solar sacrifice) has got me hooked man. The riffs and octave/solo work is so raw yet polished, everything fits together really well.

the artwork is really good too.

consider me a fan!

You this new Flux stuff sounds good. Just getting into the album on my lunch at work but I'm digging it so far. Nice work.

And sam is right, the album artwork rules.

Thanks guys, cracks me up, I'm a fan of the art but it was a serious subject of contention and almost didn't get used.

A Schecter F520T, but I just switched to a MK Guitars "Walk of Life" pickup because the Schecter died.

And it's an Esquire ha.

Have a line on a Sunn Beta Lead and 412L for $400. We'll see next Saturday what condition they are in.

Yo Ax...I got a chance to listen to the whole thing on my way to work today...very solid album from start to end.

I can hear so many different influences in there, which makes you guys sound quite unique. it definitely has the sound of the region you guys are from, but there is a lot about your music that makes it very different...the melodies (some reminiscent of Iron Maiden) the harsh attack in some songs and the vocals.
