It's impossible for it to be buffer free, as it's passing through the tuner circuit at all times. :idk:

Plus the buffer is a plus. Keeps noise down and such.

I need to tidy the PSU side of it up, but I'm having a lot of fun with this.
(picture on the new page for the lazy)

Great boards, tidy!

The more I think about it the more I realize the TU-3s is actually a pretty good idea.
I never turn my tuner off so I can make minor tuning adjustments even while on the other side of the room.

I like to use mine as a mute (Polytune mini noir)

it's a nuisance to a lot of people when musicians on stage tune without being muted. :|:

Live I have a Lehle Mono volume pedal between the two boards. I grab a bit of ambient guitar noise with the CT5 and then have that loop chopping itself up while I tune in blissful silence.

Yea but if you use a tube amp with a footswitch, they always come with a mute. Or you could, I dunno, turn your volume down. You can't tune right with effects running anyway, so you wouldn't get feedback.

I use my Polytune (splitted signal) to tune the loops (mode 2 or 3) from my CT5. It's always on and i turn the volume down (volume roller) if I want to tune my guitar.

Pretty much the same deal as what I posted a couple pages ago. Only now with the Kilobyte as this month's delay
Plan on somehow adding a Fairfield Accountant comp.

The clusterfuzz is all sorts of awesome, but aside from that my dirt game isn't where I want it to be.

I've been thinking of trying an HM-2 or MT-2 to replace it. Smaller, better build, mids control...

But than again...If it ain't broke, don't fix it, right? :idk:
