It's impossible for it to be buffer free, as it's passing through the tuner circuit at all times.

Plus the buffer is a plus. Keeps noise down and such.

The more I think about it the more I realize the TU-3s is actually a pretty good idea.
I never turn my tuner off so I can make minor tuning adjustments even while on the other side of the room.

I like to use mine as a mute (Polytune mini noir)

it's a nuisance to a lot of people when musicians on stage tune without being muted.

Live I have a Lehle Mono volume pedal between the two boards. I grab a bit of ambient guitar noise with the CT5 and then have that loop chopping itself up while I tune in blissful silence.

Yea but if you use a tube amp with a footswitch, they always come with a mute. Or you could, I dunno, turn your volume down. You can't tune right with effects running anyway, so you wouldn't get feedback.

Anyone else try dat Fuzzrocious Feed Me? Seems like such a useful tool. :o

I use my Polytune (splitted signal) to tune the loops (mode 2 or 3) from my CT5. It's always on and i turn the volume down (volume roller) if I want to tune my guitar.
