He has a demo vid too, but it's in German. Subtitles seem to work though.
Fuck. That was rad.
Cool shirt, too.

The guy in the Roli Rise video is using pedals. The unit has a 1/4 inch pedal input but it specifies in the manual that it is for expression or sustain. I'm guessing he just ran a send/return through his daw to be able to use guitar pedals with it? Anyone know?

Here's his full demo (which I didn't watch all of), he probably talks about it:

Roland Demora, because apparently I need to demonstrate how to use it properly.
Two pairs of black z-rails & ears, because expansion.

I'm thinking about picking up low-gain Hungry Robot and pairing it with a Mini.

Why do I end up loathing every reverb pedal I get? I recently got a big sky and that has a whole bunch of cool sounds but really I'm using two presets - a cloud and a bloom, and it kind of bums me out that I'm not really into like 85% of the things it does. And it also kinda blows because there aren't many bloom reverbs on the market (that I know of at least). Playing in a trendy-ass shoegaze band so it's pretty necessary that I have some sort of modulated, long reverb.
Do I try an RRR for the fourth time?
Do I try a BitQuest (I'm also real into its flanger)
Do I get the Avalanche Run? That seems pretty cool.
I've sorta heard mixed reviews on the Supermoon...
I have a midiverb iii that is kinda cool but a pain to set up without a rack cabinet and all that.
idk. I feel like I need other people to help me decide what to do next because I'm really in my head about this. Help!

It's not necessary to utilize ever option a pedal has. Those big strymon pedals have hundreds of sounds, you can't be expected to like everything it does in order to utilize it. If you feel like you use the two presets often enough and you like what they do, then why isn't it worth keeping?

Maybe be not the coolest pedal out there, but the Source Audio Dimension reverb is worth taking a look at. Ugly as hell, but sounds really good. And it only has two presets, so u don't need to feel guilty of only using two sounds.
