I just came back this morning from my (late) honeymoon and there were delivery notices for two packages for me. I got both redelivered this afternoon : Moog MF Drive and National Geographic edition SS/BS Mini. I've only tried them with my Reface YC so far and they both sound awesome with organ sounds. I got the MF Drive first which impressed me and then the Mini just makes all my other dirt pedal (apart from the Moog) irrelevant for synths processing. The bias control is awesome. The tone control on the Moog is better though. I thought I'd use one with bass and one with keyboard/modular but both might end up with the electronic noisemakers. I haven't tried them with bass though, they might end up being even more awesome

.
Btw, my Mini is this one (from SS/BS's instagram), it looks more shiny and nice in real life

Incoming: 1982 Peavey Rockmaster head. Looks brand new. 120 watts from 4 x 6L6 tubes. Massive headroom and insanely loud. Never enjoyed the looks of the 80's Peavey stuff so I might do a rehousing.

Nice score Hypnodrone!
It's the one that was one Finn for 1200-1300 NOK?
Didn't Thurston Moore use rocketmasters in Sonic Youth? Maybe he still does?

Yes, it was the really cheap one :-)
Sonic Youth have used these quite a lot. I have some pics of Thurstons amp with settings written on it. Going to be loud ...

Awesome! Looking forward to your thoughts on this and hopefully some clips. I definitely would have gotten this had I not just bought the ACMEverb

I'll definitely record clips. There are some demos online but they're kinda more for the bluesy crowd. I'm planning on using mine in a noise-punk context.

incoming....
RM-1N for a steal off ebay after gasing and waiting for somebody to have them in stock? Don't mind if I do! It's going to make sweet love to my echo degrader.

And another steal on a WMD geiger counter off reverb? The internet gods are smiling on me today.

Noice. I've got a superego inbound. Hoping that fills out the top section of my board.

Please let me know if it's any good! I was going to get one but decided against it because all the disappointing reverbs I tried this year.
