In on the 2203.
Finally saw Elder tonight. Fuckin yes.
Even more stoked to see how My boys in Mos Generator have progressed. I think Sean is pulling Tony Reed further towards the dark side IN a good way. Those two definitely have the thing I remember from playing with Sean where it borders on Psychic between the different elements. Holy shitballs rad. Spirit Caravans Drummer got a bit of heatstroke or something and We got to see some senior Reed sat in and that also slayed. Hoping Ed?'s ok.

Cd release thingy will be Dec 11th for Flux. Cant wait to put it in peoples hands.

Just got home from watching We Lost The Sea and Drowning Horse...both Aussie bands...but fuck me, they were both amazing!

You guys should do yourselves a favour and check them both out.

Kind of a weird amp question. A friend has a mesa that is switchable from 50 watts to 5 watts output. How is this done on amps that do that and could his 100 watt rivera be modded to do the same? I had no idea. Do they just switch the power section out? Not really something I have been interested in as apt living is well in my past, but the how is it done bug has bitten, and now I must know.

The new Vastum is fantastic. I don't listen to much death metal these days, but that and the new Horrendous have been hitting the spot for me lately.

Also, I got drunk and made a ridiculously low bid on an Epi flying V. I won it. Uh, I now have 8 guitars and a bass. Dammit.

Everyone's touring and doing cool stuff. That is awesome. Finally caught up on a bunch of pages on here, and it's really cool to see all the awesome things everyone's up to. It provides hope and inspiration. Keep up the good work, gents.

Went and saw some killer grind last night. Nakay and Hang Five, w/ good local openers. Check them out if their tour comes near you! Nakay are some of the most brutal wielders of the SS150 currently in operation, ridiculous awesome drummer. Fun short road trip, well worth the drive.

My new duo, kinda sludge-doom-scrunge power violence (like MITB slow, not hXc - grind speeds) has a song pretty well together, and prob four more by the end of the month. Want to do a bunch of split tapes where we do one or two songs and fast band do like 6-10. Fist show in two weeks. Pretty excite. Also weird being in a band again after bajillion years not.

So I nerded a bit tonight. Last night was epic show with Ex-Gods Opening for Mos and Elder and Spirit Caravan. Shit got wild. Tonight my band Terrasone had a show I out together with a Cali band, Swampland, and one of my new Local Favorites, Granite Waves. The Spirit Caravan crew showed up, got to chat a bit. Having the liquid light show on a sunday night was a good choice haha. Fun hanging out with them. I gave Wino a poster sized flier for the thing,

And you guys might want to keep an eye on Granite Waves, they fucking crushed it . Really digging what they are up to. Those assholes need to put out an full length.

I have this hardtail Ibanez GIO superstrat that I got super cheap. I upgraded the bridge pickup to a GFS Power Rails and just hate it. Sound like an icepick. I put it up for sale cheap and just have zero bites, but I have these Avedissian pickups that Alex made for me custom. I'm considering just dropping them into the Ibanez to see if it makes me bond with it. Should I or just move on and save them for a custom build or something else?

I ordered that Horrendous a while ago but I haven't listened to it yet.

also I see no problem with winning an 8th guitar. :thumb:

I dug that last Horrendous album quite a bit. I'm guessing the latest is out now? I'll have to give that a listen. Nightfell is pretty jamming. Funny that I saw this thread as I had just finished up reading about them on Decibel and was pumped to get home to check 'em out (I was on the airplane so no access to the internet).

I haven't heard the new Nightfell yet. So it's pretty good? I'll have to see if Tim has it available on parasitic.

If you have pickups and like the way the git plays, might as well try another pickup. Or start a black metal side project.
